New details between a fiery crash between a school bus and a fed ex truck that killed ten people. A witness said the truck was already on fire before it crashed into the bus. The fed ex truck was already on fire . Yeah, it was. It was like a 3d movie. You imagine a mac truck in a movie. Claims the truck was on fire before it crashed has not yet been confirmed by the National Transportation safety board who is investigating the crash. The investigation is expected to take up to two weeks. Some families are asked for dental records because the bodies are too badly burned to be identified. All of the students on board the bus came from the los angeles area. The students were headed to a college review weekend at Humboldt State university. Abc News Reporter Melissa Mcbride has more from the scene. Seconds after a truck collide with a bus full of High School Students, calls to 911 began flooding in. Saw a very, very large explosion and fireball. 43 students were headed to Humboldt State for a College Visit thursday afternoon when the fed ex tractortrailer crossed the median. Ten people were killed in the fiery crash. Five students, both drivers and three shaper roenicks on the bus. 18yearold harley was doing homework when the accident happened. All of a sudden people started screaming and theres commotion and i look up and as i look up the bus driver slams on the brakes and its like a cloud screeching noise. Ill never forget it. Within a split second, boom smoke was filling the truck and everything, the fed ex truck was on fire. He has been reunited with his family. 18yearold miles hill of Mount Washington remains hospitalized with serious burns and a broken collarbone. Absolutely terror because i couldnt get here and hes my son and i knew he needed me. His father said miles has burns on his ears and legs from kicking out a window to escape. He put his hands over his face so the graft explosions went back this way and missed the front of his face and he was right behind the driver. Hes lucky he got out. One family with identical twins , daughters, they made it to the destination but no word from the other daughter who was riding open the bus that crashed. Three people are recovering from injuries after a fight led to a stabbing in san jose. It happened 9 15 last night. Police say two officers found two men, who were believe to be victims, suffering from stab wounds and a third man, believed to be a suspect, was found a short time later. He was also injured.
