Francis, thank you. Sheriffs deputies in Contra Costa County are looking for the suspect in another shooting it mere pittsburgh. It happened on westbound highway 4. The driver of a pickup truck got off the highway and pulled over after hearing a pop, and found a hole in the back window. A woman was hit by the broken glass and taken to the hospital as a precaution. The chp said there have been 28 shootings on the highways in the east bay since never of last year. He said he received a reverse 911 call to evacuate and less than half an hour later the fire was dangerously close. He left with only his medication. I jumped in my truck and everyone was running by that time. Hes roughly one of 125 residents now staying at on Evacuation Center in kernville. I wanted to make sure my animals got out safely because these are my babies. Wanda and her three dogs were was forced to evacuate the community of weldon. In squirrel valley the fire claimed two lives. Officials said an elderly couple who had medical problems will not escape the fire. A deputy was in the area and he was going door to door and came across this burnedout property, checked the property and located the two bodies. The erskin fire has charred 30,000 acres and destroyed 80 homes. Some personal belongings cant be replaced, like his 1973 vw thing he wanted to give to his granddaughter. They are accused of an assault in an incident that happened more than a year ago. The guards reportedly punched and kicked an inmate, even though another officer told them to stop. One of the guards is alona simpson hogan. The Santa Clara Department is under investigation for other beatings. Three guards are charged with beating an inmate. Weve reached out to the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office for more information on the latest case, but they say they cannot comment on personnel issues. Also, protesters rallied in front of the Hayward Police officer last night demanding justice for a man who died two years ago in police custody. What do we want justice. When do we want it now the rally was held on behalf of 46yearold george grear, who died after being tased in a traffic stop. A traffic cam ma captured the incident. Protesters attempted to speak with department of officials, but were unsuccessful. San Francisco Police are looking for two burglars who broke into a Jewelry Store and made off with what they believe is 2 Million Dollars in diamonds and gold chains. Surveillance videos shows one of the men breaking into the grace jewelry on ofarrell street tuesday morning. The owner said a call from his Alarm Company woke him up. Then he watched as the thieves broke through the cases and stole his most expensive jewelry. All the items were either all gold or diamondbacks. The other items that dont have that much gold, they totally ignored them. Police believe the men escaped in this ford sedan who was parked in a nearby garage San Jose Police are searching for the thieves who took off with an atm from a mini mart. Surveillance video captured the entire incident just before 4 00 wednesday morning. You can see a Station Wagon crash into the store and two men rush in to take the atm. After they couldnt get it out, they smash the atm to free it, put it in the car and drove off. Police found the Station Wagon a few hours later, but not the money or the thieves. Time is 6 0ed. The mission of the march is to bring them together to celebrate unity. There will be plenty of activities before the march, including live music and food. The march starts at 6 00 tonight at 18th and delores. As mentioned, pride weekend in San Francisco is underway in morning. The transgender march kicked off the festivities. And tight security is expected throughout the weekend. We have the details. The transmarch started with a loud group in the audience boog mayor ed lee, a senator and another off the same. A lot of transgender friends are homeless, and im tired of people using our community as a prop. Senator leno said there is a time and place for everything and now should be a time for unity. Its 61 degrees. So we have some nice weather ahead from sutro. We are looking out toward the beach. It will be pleasant there today, although it will be breezy, as well. Heat alert for early next week wherein land areas could reach triple digits. With that in effect, the breezy conditions and the warm weather, theres a red flag warning for tonight. Gusts could reach up to higher levels. And these areas highlighted in red on the map. Be extra careful. If you are heading to the beach, and not including the sharks, theres a beach hazard statement in effect through tonight. Strong rip currents, large breakers especially for the north bay and the monterey bay area. But today you can expect temperatures to be above average in many spots. So they range quite a bit. Weve got 66 in half moon bay. Breezy at the coast and 72 in San Francisco. Even some low 80s around the bay. 85 in palo alto. 88 in san jose. All the way up to 98 in antioch. Look for low 90s through santa rosa, napa. 80s vallejo and in richmond. A lot of folks heading to San Francisco this weekend. Heres what you can expect. Plenty of sunshine with a rest wind about 20 to 30 miles an hour this afternoon. So it will feel pretty breezy. Temperatures will hold steady for tomorrow with a lot of sunshine and overnight lows will be in the 50s. Also, a lot of folks heading to the sonoma raceway. And there you will need the sunscreen and a drink and a hatteberg because temperatures will be in the low 90s with overnight lows in the mid50s. For tonights giants game, heres what you can expect. First one identified in the 21st century. To you and me theres nothing special about this picture of neptune from the hubbell telescope, but to astronomers this is a big deal.
