We will see some thunderstorms possibly south of lake tahoe and a chance of sprinkles throughout the day. Temperatures a little cooler in the inland areas. We are going to only reach the mid80s today. Along the coast in San Francisco mid60s and around the bay temperatures in the 70s. A little earlier we visited the starting line where teams were assembling. This is the 28th annual a. I. D. S. Walk San Francisco and there are quite a few walkers, and lots of new walkers as well. Everyone making their way around Golden Gate Park. I brought all my kids out here because we need to learn how to support and give back to the community. So thats why we are here. This years Opening Ceremony will include a special moment of silence to honor the a. I. D. S. Researchers who were killed aboard malaysian flight 17. Six were killed, among the other victims of the crash. Todays walk will also end with a moment of silence in their honor and the m. C. Of the Opening Ceremony, my colleague dan ashley, that will begin in with 45 minutes and we will be here throughout the day showing everybody what is going on at a. I. D. S. Walk San Francisco. Now to the latest on the downing Malaysia Flight 17. They said the black boxes of the plane have been found and will be given to International Aviation authorities. The separatists took away nearly 200 bodies that were recovered so far. We have the latest. No clear perimeters. Known in charge. And no one taking responsibility. We have proof, we have evidence it was planned and committed with the participation of russia. This crash site now arguably the worlds biggest and most disputed crime scene. Most of the victims bodies have opinion taken away in truckloads and are now under rebel control. Rescue work is not there because the terrorists are there and they dont allow rescue groups to work. Armed gunmen hovering over the wreckage and standing in the way of a European Group of observers, limiting their access and allowing them to stay no longer than 75 minutes. Here one prorussian fighter seen holding up a toy found among the debris. The Prime Minister is furious, calling the handling of the crash site and victims down right disgusting. While an International Squad of investigators has started trickling into the capital city of kiev, including a dutch forensic teams, the pressure is on Vladimir Putin to force the rebels to back off and let International Rescuers begin a painstaking search for answers. It should be an International Investigation to identify the cause and the perpetrator so we can bring them to justice. In the midst of all this chaos, the blame game continues. Russia is trying today to they are trying to not be responsible for this. The outrage is building around the world. There is a team of forensic investigators ready to get on the scene but they cannot get access. They are waiting for a ceasefire and neither of rebels or the Ukrainian Government has agreed on that yet. Abc news. The u. S. Is putting the likely blame for the downed malaysian passenger plane on separatists who had pro russian help. Secretary of state kerry points the finger at the separatists. He said theres been russian weapons going over the board to help fighters breakaway from the central government. Some of the separatist leaders are russian. Russia has armed the split efforts, have supported the separatists, they continue to refuse call publicly for the separatists to engage in behavior that would lend itself to a resolution to this issue. Kerry said separatists have shot down several aircraft over the last month and bragged about thursdays attack on the malaysian plane until they realized it was a commercial jet. In developing news one person is dead and another seriously injured following a car crash in santa rosa. It happened near highway 12 on the off ram. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when going throughout intersection and lost control, hitting the tree and a guardrail before flipping over. The driver suffered major injuries. The passenger was killed. No word yet if alcohol was a factor. In stockton friends, family and entire community turn out for a woman killed during a bank robbery last week. Misty was one of three people taken hostage. She was killed when one of the suspects used her as a humor a human shield with a shootout with the police. We have the details. Heal our city right now many of the more than 500 at this vigil were still in a state of shock after a bank robbery, chase, and shootout that ended in the death of a 41yearold hostage misty. Her son said she was wellknown for her kindness. I am literally at a loss for words. I cant begin to describe thousand thankful i am for everybody who is here. Police say all three suspects, two who were killed in the gun fight, were members of the nortenia street gang. We dont have enough resources unless we are joining forces with various state task forces and the fbi to combat thing gangs. There are just so many of them. Meanwhile the family is still searching answers from police about her death that ended in a hale of gunfire between the police and the suspect. In stockton, alan wang, abc7 news. Abc7 news. An effort to pay for her funeral expenses is gaining support. Her husband works at a car dealership in pittsburgh. His coworkers started a gofundme page hoping to raise money. His friends raised nearly 8,000 for paul and his kids. Hes trying to hold them up as best he can for this situation. I mean, how can you . But for his kids and family, hes being very strong. Coworkers say they are overwhelmed to see donations come from strangers in other parts of the state and across the country. We are hearing from the long time girlfriend of one of the two suspects killed wednesday. 30yearold Gilbert Renteria junior and 27yearold Alex Martinez died to the shootout. The third suspect, 19yearold ramos, was arrested on the scene. They expressed sorrow for mistys family. Breaks my heart he lost his wife, they lost their mother because my kids lost their father so i can comprehend on that, you know. Police are still searching for the driver of this car discovered about four miles away from the scene of the crime. Surveillance cameras caught it coming off all three suspect before they rob the bank. Today wyoming National Guard c130 tankers will arrive in Washington State to help with a massive wildfire. The tankers are capable of dropping 3,000 pounds of retardant in seconds. Yesterday strong winds pushed the flames in several directions. Fires burning in the central part of the state have destroyed at least 100 homes and forced more evacuations. So far 340 square miles have burned. You see the pattern of the clouds coming in from the east. Now a lot of this does not seem to be making it to the ground because we arent getting any measurable precipitation yet. But notice in this loop theres a thunderstorm just north of sacramento, south of chico along i5. We are seeing a little bit of showers making it to the ground like point reyes had. 01inch and. 01inch near salinas. We will keep an eye out for more measurable rainfall. We are seeing a lot of thunderstorm activity to the area of east of fresno right now. We will continue to see a threat of thunderstorms in the area south of lake tahoe and in the Higher Elevations of central california. As we look live from the east bay hills you notice the lowmoving clouds and highlevel clouds as well but we are seeing some brakes and sunshine. San carlos 64, san jose 67, gilroy 9 11 and Half Moon Bay 91. And 43 minutes flight arrival delays. More 60s napa and novato. And livermore up to 68 grease. Golden gate bridge still foggy. Thats what you can expect along most of the coast today. A chance of showers or sprinkles throughout the day and tomorrow morning. Cooler and cloudy for sunday and then warmer by thursday. Now the water vapor imagery shows you moisture in the upper levels and the green showing you where it can rain. The area of low pressure with the air circulating counterclockwise continues to build the moisture from the gulf of california. We will see increasing clouds today with a chance of a light shower. But definitely increasing clouds, and then the areas of green show where we could get some shower activity or sprinkles. And this may continue into monday morning. We will wake up to gray skies and overcast conditions. Also for the a. I. D. S. Walk happening right now, temperatures will be in the low 60s and then we will reach the mid60s by this afternoon with a little bit more sunshine. So the air isnt green by the time it hits the ground, its evaporated. So its mostly verga. I want to show you where its green with a lot of low clouds but the live camera shows there is no rain falling now over 101. Temperatures cooler in the inland areas. Only into the mid80s today. Along the coast and in San Francisco look for mid60s to upper 60s. And around the bay temperatures holding fairly steady. Upper 70s and topping out at 77. We did get a little bit of measurable precip at point reyes and salinas so far this morning. A lot of this is not making it to the ground, but we are picking up thunderstorm activity east of fresno and yosemite late, and we also could see some more thunderstorms up in the lake tahoe area and in the sierra as matt mentioned. I have been keeping a close eye on this area of green. The live doppler hd is very sensitive. It is picking up all the moisture. This was green but i didnt see rain falling. Heres a live shot of 101u see a lot of low clouds. We may be getting some drizzle and drags amounts of precipitation around the bay area. We will keep an eye on that and we have the details tonight. Oakland 63, san carlos 64, and gilroy already up to 71 and Half Moon Bay at 61 degrees. And i want to take you to the south bay this time because in san jose we are seeing blue skies and high clouds. High clouds and midlevel clouds will be moving in this afternoon. Santa rosa, napa, novato in the low 60s and midto upper 60s right now through fair feel, concord and livermore. Here we have the gray skies still over the golden gate bridge. It will be cloudy along the coast. A chance of showers today. So minimal right now. More like a chance of sprinkles. Cooler, cloudy and humid for your sunday and much warmer by thursday. A chance of water vapor image. This shows the circulation around the low. And it shows moisture in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Its going to continue to just pull this monsoonal moisture from the gulf of california and that will bring us cloudy conditions and a chance of a shower. But if we do get a shower, it will be brief and very light. So mainly cloudy conditions, slightly cooler numbers. The chance of a shower continues into tomorrow morning.
