Its greatening up in the east bay valleys. Sunshine at the airport despite 38 minute delays on arriving flights. The camera shows very pretty pictures. Numbers from the upper 50s Half Moon Bay, San Francisco to 52 in san jose. Visibility is impacted in the north bay, 2 1 2 miles santa rosa and napa, and while cloudy skies and better visibility at the coast. The visible picture shows the cloud cover beginning to peel back from the inland valleys and that means sunshine and mild temperatures are on the way today. We will take a look at it in detail about the week ahead. A little bit of cooling out there. And the problem with the cooling in a few minutes. Matt. Thank you, lisa. Game one for the 49ers at leave ice stadium starts in a few hours. Real obstacle for fans may be the traffic. Heres a live look from the city of San Francisco camera close to the stadium. Niners and officials at Santa Clara County, they say they are ready. They dont expect a repeat of the earthquakes game two weeks ago that created traffic nightmare. Theres been throttle of tweaking and extra turn lanes added and Traffic Signals have been synchronized we have some 32,000 Parking Spaces and candlestick as 19,000. Im not hopeful. They have got people coming in and people coming out. And the last time was three hours. Neighbors have their doubts. There was a minor glitch when a vta train clipped a planter placing a little too close to the track. No damage or delays because of it. So far we havent seen any traffic delays getting here but the day is young. There will be some delays. Take public transportation, if you can. Enjoy the game. In fact the theme park website said it will be closed every time the niners have a home game. This morning relatives of a twoyearold killed in a San Francisco hitandrun are asking the driver to surrender to police and spare them any more agony. Police say the driver of the white toyota or lexus sedan hit the child and kept going. Abc7 News ReporterSergio Quintana has the latest. Reporter a small bouquet of flowers, a con dolens card and a single candle. This is a small memorial for 2yearold miyana gregory. She was killed friday night in the nearby crosswalk. Miyana gregorys aunt says the twoyearold and her mother were walking across the street from a theater when the driver of a white fourdoor sedan whizzed by. She was hit by a driver in drag, and thats pretty much it and the car kept going. This is a series that was taken from the Mission Street parking garage. You see the front of the white car, the rear of the car and then the whole car. [sirens] throughout the afternoon and evening, San Francisco motorcycle officers have been handing out citation after citation on this very short stretch of Mission Street. The San FranciscoPolice Department is on heavy enforcement due to the tragedy that occurred with the twoyearold child and a white vehicle that was involved in a hit run and. These are pictures of the scene just after the hitandrun that wesley shot. He said this is a busy area, especially on a friday night. Little evidence markers. It looked like a shooting or something and then we asked what happened and we found out about what happened. Miyana gregorys family said they are in shock and the search for the driver in the hitandrun isnt helping. We shouldnt have to go through pictures and cameras to find you. You turn yourself in. You know what you did. Investigators are hoping anyone who can identify the car can give them a call. In San Francisco, Sergio Quintana, abc7 news. The bay area woman known as the serial stowaway is out of jail after serves just three days. Last wednesday A Los Angeles judge sentenced 62yearold Marilyn Hartman to 177 days in jail for violating an order to stay away from l. A. X. Without a valid ticket. But she was released yesterday because of overcrowding. Earlier this month she snuck on to a plane without a ticket and flew from san jose to l. A. X. Shes already banned from sfo, where shes been arrested six times. One person is dead and another injured after a private plane crashed in Eldorado County. The Eldorado CountySheriffs Department said it happened just before 7 00 last night at the airport in placerville. Two men were in a plane. One taken to the hospital and other died at the scene. The plane is registered in san jose. The plane reportedly circled the airport before disappearing. Now to the latest in the small Missouri Town of ferguson. The attorney general is calling for a federal autopsy for the body of Michael Brown in response to a request from the 18yearolds family. The teens death led to more violence last night after police tried to enforce a curfew, leaving one person in Critical Condition. We have in ferguson with the developing story. Another standoff between demonstrators and police. You must continue disbursing immediately or you will be subject to arrest. Just after the midnight curfew went into effect, the state Highway Patrol said they heard reports of people with guns on the roof of a restaurant and responded. They say officers were meant by a protester pointing a gun and a crowd that refused to leave. The s. W. A. T. Team moved in and they are firing teargas at those protesters. I was hit full in the face with teargas. I have no protection of any sort. Highway patrol explaining they took those extreme measures only after learning someone in the crowd had been shot. We have a shooting victim thats in Critical Condition that may lose their life. We had a subject standing in the middle of the road with a happened gun. We had a police car shot at tonight. Yes, i think that was the proper response tonight. To maintain officer safety and public safety. The curfew outside of st. Louis put in place after nearly a week of violence following the shooting death of an unarmed teenager by an unarmed officer. Business owners in the east bay spent yesterday cleaning up after a polar in support of Michael Brown got out of control. The group marched through downtown oakland into berkeley friday night denouncing Police Violence affeldt the shooting in ferguson. Businesses were spray painted and vandals Wearing Masks we had nothing to do with it. We are thousands of miles away from what happened, and now i have to pay 700 to have a window replaced. I understand the anger and everything, but i dont know if this was particularly the right way to express it. Oakland Police Say One officer was assaulted by demonstrators and one was peppersprayed. Two protesters airplane rested. In santa rosa there was a protest after they let a deputy return to the streets this week. Last october the officer shot and killed andy lopez. Teen was carrying an air soft gun made to look like an ak47. Last month they cleared the officer of any wrongdoing. Yesterday protesters outside of the departments headquarters said they want justice for lopez. Disrespectful to the community to put the man who killed the child back on their streets to patrol the streets. I do not think he should be returning to work in this county. If anything, he should be working elsewhere. A lot of people arent happy he will be on the streets after this happened. Protesters say the shooting and protests that followed highlighted tensions between Law Enforcement and the Latino Community in sonoma people protested the arrival of an isreali cargo ship at the port of oakland yesterday. Several groups marched. Its where they unload cargo every saturday. Event organizers asked dockworkers to show their support by not going to the work. A judge ruled theres enough evidence for a former High School Security guard to stand trial for attacking a student in a wheelchair. The Security Camera shows him punching and dumping the boy, who has cerebral palsy, out of his chair at an oakland high school. A district spokesman said mitchell was pushing martinez to class when martinez spit him in his face. Another guard stopped the attack and mitchell was stopped and fired that day. He will return to court for arraignment and have a trial date set. Four people, including a child are resting comfortably this morning after being rescued from their burning boat in Southern California. A brand new 40foot yacht caught fire saturday evening off the coast of malibu. A man on shore took this video of the smoke on the water. Three adults and a child managed to get on the life raft before the coast guard arrive. The yacht sank, which put out the fire. No word on how the fire start the. Cal fire hopes to have a large fire burning in Mendocino County fully contained by wednesday. Higher humidity, calm winds and lower temperatures are helping them get the lodge fire under control. Its burn more than 12,000 acres since it broke out 2 1 2 weeks ago. Its about 75 contained right now. Last week 8 firefighters were hospitalized with serious injuries, including three from Santa Clara County. To date the cost of fighting the fire stands at 35 million. So weve been enjoying the view from the east bay hills camera all morning long. Temperatures have been in the upper 350s in the city. 57 gilroy and Half Moon Bay. Still a few airport delays but we are beginning to see some sunshine at sfo. 61 san carlos and san jose at 62. So San Francisco, great skies. Novato 59. Fog beginning to lower creating visibility problems in santa rosa and napa 62. Concord 63. Heres a look at san jose where we are looking at mostly cloudy skies. Sunny and breezy conditions around the bay. The pattern remains fairly unchanged throughout the week ahead. We will get into a little bit of cooling today, more so tomorrow and tuesday in the inland valleys due to an area of low pressure that will drop to the south of us. Right now we are still look at pretty much the same old same old but the steady sea breeze this afternoon. West winds about 10 to 15 miles an hour then a little bit of an on shore push will strengthen tomorrow and that allows for the temperatures to come down around 3 to 5 degrees in the inland valleys. Today just a couple degrees. We are very near average. We should see about 87, 88 in livermore for a high today. Forecasting a high about 91. Tomorrow comes a minor cool down right on through wednesday. Then we begin to see the temperatures get back to near average. So the difference is you may not even notice today. 89 in morgan hill. 90 today in gilroy. A little warmer in the mid90s there. And santa cruz coming in at 74 today. 79 redwood city. 75 San Francisco. Today 67, your average high is 68 up in the north bay. Notice some of the yellows here.
