Her life revolved around him. Those alzheimers years so sad for her because the man she knew was slipping away. But she was there. She was there. She took care of him. She didnt leave his side. It was very sad. Its what she called, the long goodbye. Because he had alzheimers for quite a while. And her legacy quite long as well. She spoke out on so many issues on Breast Cancer, on alzheimers, on the just say no campaign. Especially on the Breast Cancer. I know youll be talking about it in other ways. She made women go and get mammographies and selfexams. She did some very serious things. She also loved gossip and clothes. Chef had been criticized for it in the beginning and you know that song, secondhand sure. There was some white house affair in which she sang that. Yeah. How will you remember her . I think she brought an elegance to the white house. Not that it hadnt been before. Rosalynn carter lived a simple lifestyle. There was an elegance, there was a charm, she brought wonderful artists to the white house. Thats what ill remember most. She was a dignified, elegant woman. A credit to her husbands legacy. Hillary clinton, even though Bernie Sanders won three states over the weekend, she still has an insurmountable lead. He still has a small window of opportunity. He won three of four, a big weekend for anyone else, other than Bernie Sanders against Hillary Clinton. The problem is, he has to win michigan tomorrow night. Hes behind.
