In this weeks traders unplugged will the latest hype cause the stock to grow . And after the breakprivacy trade off. Is the pain worth the gain of prying eye . Bill moller checks it out, next. Its amazing or maybe a better word would be unsettling how much news theres been of late on electronic intrusion into our personal privacy. And its bound to get worse. Take the introduction of google glass a computer you wear. Its another electronic convenience but it requires a sortof unspoken tradeoff. Mike salvaggio is a founder of seo brand, an Interactive Marketing company and he is turned to as an expert in the internet and software. So mike, talk about that trade off as technology in our lives becomes more commonplace in our lives. Its very invasive. The more technology rolled out right now, the more privacy we lose. We make these tremendous gains being able to do all of these wonderful things with technology but were basically just giving away whatever bit of privacy we have left. I dont think people are aware of that and it seems like weve almost passed a point of no return. It is past the point of no return. You can see kids today are uploading their whole lives onto twitter. Anything they do theyre putting on twitter, theyre putting on facebook. So as wonderful as these Communication Technologies have becomekeeping in touch with friendsbut theyve also pretty much robbed you of anything youd like to keep private. And thats a real problem. Whats the issue with google glass . Thats the latest golly geewhizdevice out there. Its a wonderful device. Theres all different types of things you can do with it. But again when you look at the darkside of google glass bar owners, restaurant owners, even as far as casino owners they dont want this device annywhere near their business because of the privacy it invades. So, some people are certainly aware of it. Do we just surrender to this loss of privacy or can we somehow take a stand and protect some part of it while were still a functioning member of the modern Electronic Society . I think its gonna get to a breaking point where it goes just way too far. And people are going to become accustomed to using these wonderful pieces of technology but then again theyre gonna realize at some point that ive pretty much given up any privacy that i have and people are going to have to be aware of it. I mean, you have to be very, very careful of anything you do because somebody could be watching you with google glass and before you know it, upload it in a matter of seconds with a voice command to social media on the internet. Yeah, we hear all the stories about hackers doing nasty, scary things around the world and yet we just blithely move forward and keep using our technology. Thats a great point you bring upthe hackers are just getting into everything right now. So the fact that they can even control a car through wi fi and theyre going to control what you see through google glass. I dont know, its pretty scary. I feel like i wanna take my cell phone and throw it away maybe. Mike salvaggio, thank you so much. Thank you bill. Now on to a check on what our viewers have to say leslie responds to a report on it hiring by Chuck Coppola she says our government allows companies to bring foreign employees in using h1 b work permit status because they work for less, but those companies claim they cannot find workers here. Angie were kicking off the weekend with traders unplugged. Joining us now from the floor is cme group Alan Knuckman and andrew keene. Good morning. And topic numer 1 end eurozone. The recession is winding down in europe, so now how do you play it . Andrew who said the recession was over . Alan finds these obscure articles. Alan the way you measure a recessionits over. Andrew . With the u. S. Stock market up 16 , i wanna get short the eem. Im selling the 39 1 240 1 2 bear call spread 50 cents. If it rips higher. Eem and the stock market is headed lower. Alan the official recession is over there. And looking at the Euro Currency the debt has been greatly exaggerated. Its at 134 now, it looks like itll get to 136 possibly 140. My play to playing the eurozone is png very conservativeyou might appreciate that. Andrew thats actually not a bad play. Alan procter and gamble theyll buy more diapers, more soap, more detergent and so forth. It looks like its got about a 10 gain here from a technical standpoint. And they do 20 of their business in europe. Angie topic number 2, tough love. This week a report came out that there are 25 companies that are very tough on job hunters. Does a tough interview equal a good stock . Alan well, youre gonna have to answer that with the company you think they obviously have the toughest interview process. Out of that list, i know youre gonna like google so what do you have to say . Andrew out of 25 stocks, alan knew what i was going to choose. Google. Theyre innovative. The stock chart looks great from the bottom left to the top right. Recent pullback here, maybe some cash going into apple out of google. I dont want to get long in it just yet. Once it breaks 880 to the upside i want to get long. Alan how do you trade google . How does the average retail guy trade google . Andrew you trade the minis. Alan ok, thats a good answer. Theres a couple of good stocks on that listnvidia and sapian. The both look like they have about 50 moves technically. If they break above their recent highs they could get to 23. So from a technical standpoint those were the companies. But i dont like the premise. Just because a company is really hard to get a job for doesnt mean the stock is that good. Angie apple apeel. All of a sudden were hearing tweets from carl ichan that hes buying more shares of apple. He sees the stock going to 700. George soros doubling down on his position. What do you do with apple now . Is it a buy . Does it have more appeal . Andrew im obviously going to say apple is not a buy right here. However it is too strong to short, even today with the s p 500 down 23 points, apples actually up. Hitting or lingering around this 500 level. This might be every time it sells off is a buy instead of everytime it rallies is a sale. Alan so youre changing sentiment at least . Andrew shortterm sentiment. Its bullish, ok . Shortterm sentiment. Alan this is the first time weve been to 500 since january, but the riskrewards no longer there. Weve already rallied 120 off the lows. The midpoint is about 550. 580 is the target. Andrew no chance it gets to 580. Period. Alan thats only 15 higher. Theres better plays in this space andrew google. Alan look at crus and look at gorilla glass. Andrew Nuance Communications too. Alan they have more upside as apple continues to gain and they have better reward as far as re risk ratios. Angie and your bonus question is name 3 stocks trading above 600. Andrew priceline, google. Theres 2. How many do we have . Alan we gotta come up with another one . Amazons not it. Blackstones 300. Andrew well how about berkshirehathaway. . Alan that doesnt count. Angie that is three. Not on my list but you are correct. Mastercard is the third choice. And keep in mind on labor day we will have a special edition of traders unplugged so we are asking you for your questions to ask the guys. Thanks a lot and have a good day.
