It helps us with our attitudes. Encourages us to change our ways because if we can work with our attitudes in here. Out there we can control them better with human beings because these dogs give us a hard time and were able to control our tempers around animals like this and not abuse them. Once the dogs complete their training, theyll go onto noahs hope for adoption, and partners for patriots for wounded veterara overall good prograra its a Community Service program once again its great for the inmates. Im Kristine Frazao siouxland news. 3 3 its the night before the state championship games in Iowa High School football. 3 and at marcus meridan cleghorn they gave the Football Team a proper sendoff today. But see hohothe kids at the local elementary got quite the treat as well. Chris neyenhouse is 3 just playing for a state championship, win or lose is something players and coaches no doubt never forget. But today at marcusmeridan Cleghorn Community high school it was pretty obvious that its a memorable experience for the youngsters not even playing in the game. 3 i mean check this out. Each Elementary School kid was escorted by a varsity Football Player to todays pep rally. And what little guy or gal would ever forget that . Now these players are champions to the Elementary School kids no matter what but the eagles will still be playing for the state championship on the cedar falls against the Don Bosco Team that held number one defending champ newell fonda to zero offensive points in the semifinals. The eagles won the title in 2012 when many of these players were freshman. Head coach kyle oswold was the coach then too and i asked him and star qb ben specht how that Team Motivates them. And just how the two teams compare. 3 it was crazy. It was nice seeiei how those guys enjoyed being there. Its just our goal. We knew that we also had a chance since our class was pretty tight and pretty solid team as well. So we knew we had a chance we just had to work for it. Now were back there. Saw a big turnaround that summer. More people in the weight room. Lot more people getting after it. That was a big deal for us. Seeing them down there and making that our goal too. I guess just strong Senior Leadership is the biggest similarity. But these seniors have been able to have and since theyre all been able to have lots of playing time since they were sophomores. In 2012 that happened as well. But i think these seniors ununrstand they can live in the past. Just because of what happend in 2012 doesnt guarantee everything. We had to pay a different toll this time around. We had to earn our spot a different way this time around. No one is going to give us anything. If history repeats itself great. But we have to make that happen it aint going to happen on its own. You can watch this game and all the football state championship games live tomorrow morning on our sister station kpth fox 44.
