Tonights bay area proud has us thinking for century, we play is been doing weddings all wrong, maybe the ceremony should be a victory lap and not the starting point. With he got to the story because of bob and myra graves and their wedding this past friday. Their wedding, 72 years into their wonderful marriage. Heres nbc bay areas garvin thomas. Sounds interesting. Bob and myra graves met in 1941 when he stayed at a boarding house in san mateo where she worked. Just a few months later was when they drove later to be witnesses for a friends wedding and decided on the spot join them. They appeared just as much in love today as always and thanks to the generosity of others, as you will see in tonights bay area proud, now the pictures to prove it. Before moving into the quail Lodge Retirement Community in antioch last month, bob and myra graves got rid of most of their stuff, except a few family photos, like this one. The first of themselves taken as a couple, taken a few months after they eloped to reno in 1942 just before bob went off to war. To call that wedding a simple affair would be generous. No flowers, no cake, no photography. Nothing. We just stood in front of a judge. He is over here. We are over here. And i think the secretary come in to be a witness or something. Reporter which for bob and myra was just fine at the time. And 72 years of loving marriage later, still is. We never thought back on that at all. Ever. Ever. Reporter which makes what happened this past friday all the more special. When staff at quail lodge learned bob and myras story, they wanted to give them the picture this never had, which meant throwing them the wedding they never h it is what i was meant to do. Reporter thats when activities director jennifer noble called suzanne larson, own other of a brentwood shop. Within five minutes, you called me five times back, back, back, and it just exploded. Reporter soon, suzanne had lined up not just the cloth bus the cake, the flowers, the photographer. All for free. It did my heart so much good to know that theres this kind of goodness in everyones heart. Reporter so, surrounded by friends and family this valentines day bob and myra graves retied a knot that had never come loose. I believe its time they kissed. Reporter this second wedding, not so much a promise of good things to come, but a celebration of a job well done. When you have someone to love that much, it cant go wrong. That is so cute. Not to put a number on it, must be mentioned that close to 10,000 was donated to them. That wedding stuff is not cheap. The community up there, antioch, brentwood, came together for this wonderful couple. Good looking couple. Beautiful bride. Thanks, garvin. Lets bring in our chief meteorologist, jeff ranieri, with the microclimate forecast. I dont know how you can top that im not going to try. How is that . Satellite and radar picture, we are tracking rainfall here across washington and also oregon. For us, currently, not looking at any rainfall at the moment. But we are looking at the possibility here of a few showers as we head throughout tonight. More on that in about 45 seconds. You take a look outside right now, you can see the cloud cover we forecasted yesterday is well in place here from the south bay all the way to the north bay. Temperatures in the upper 50s to about 60 and its also a little bit hazy back ards the east bay. Thats where we are finding winds right now out of the west, five to ten Miles Per Hour. Not overly gusty but talking about some increasing wind in that wednesday forecast. Our storm system is just off to the north right now and it looks like by all indications, the heart of this storm is going to continue to travel off, way up into parts of canada. For us, mainly just an increase in that cloud cover throughout early tomorrow morning but the biggest component back behind this storm system will be the wind as we head throughout wednesday. Mainly wind gusts, 15 to 30 Miles Per Hour with the worst possibility of that wind right up against the immediate coastline. You will see here in the futurecast for tomorrow as we head throughout the Early Morning hours, that rainfall line is going to stay way off to the north. Again, just the slight chance of that front getting closer, the north bay will have the best chance here, maybe some showers tonight and also early tomorrow morning. A we head throughout the afternoon hours, we clear out, sunny skies across the bay area and thats gonna set off a warming trend that you can see in that scrolling are 7day forecast. Now lets go ahead and get you to the wind story back behind the cold front. You can see tomorrow morning at 8, 9 and 10 00, we will start to see that wind amplify the immediate coastline, likely winds gusting 15 to about 30 miles an hour. Traveling anywhere across the peninsula or north bay, where you will want to watch out for the gusty winds. Forecasting potentially here in san francisco, winds that likely could hit 26 Miles Per Hour. Down here for half moon bay, 28 Miles Per Hour as well. So, both hands on the Steering Wheel and i think youll be just fine. Microclimate forecast as we head throughout wednesday does have increased sunshine as we head throughout 1, 2 and 3 00, should be a partly cloudy to mostly sunny sky. San jose with 65 degrees. Also, palo alto likely close to 70 degrees or your forecast on wednesday. San francisco also in the low 60s. North bay, east bay and also for the trivalley, the spot that will start off the cloudiest in the morning, will clear out the soonest by the afternoon, sunny skies and also santa rosa, temperatures mid to upper 60s, look for a partly cloudy sky in danville, 63, pleasanton, also at 65. The warming trend is on the way, you can see in that 7day forecast, by saturday, possible low 70s in the south bay and we are going to wrap it up tonight, you guys, a look ahead toward the pacific satellite. By next thursday, we are looking at the potential here of several storm system rolls into the bay area, next thursday to next tuesday. We are hoping that stays in the forecast but right now, looks pretty good. All right, thank you, jeff. Sure. Just ahead, your grocery bill likely to go up. Whats driving up the price of milk. And its made right here in the bay area. And its helping members of team usa perhaps win some gold. A morning bowl of cereal about to get pricey. The price of milk is about to shoot up, you can blame the drought, in part. It could affect production later this year, limiting food for dairy cows, and that could cause prices to increase in the long term. Shortterm, price does jump by 60 as soon as next month, partly because farmers trimmed their herds last year when feed costs climbed. The birth of spring cows means milk production will increase and maybe essentially, the prices should temper a little bit. Lets get back to our olympics coverage. And as you might know by now, 15yearold Paulina Edmonds took two important things with her to the olympics, her homework from san joses high school and her skates.
