Supporters for a plan to legalize marijuana in california now have the green light to begin Gathering Signatures in attempt to qualify for the measure for the November Ballot. If approved by voters the measure would prohibit discrimination against pot users and businesses and would take over half a million valid signatures by may 23rd to qualify for the ballot. The family has been fighting to keep the girl on life support. Now a judge has ruled the hospital can end that care at 5 00 p. M. Monday. The familys Attorney Says he has found another facility willing to keep jahi on life support indefinitely. However, he says Childrens Hospital has to agree first to perform additional procedures before any move could happen. The familys insurance must also agree to pay for jahis care. San francisco will raise its minimum wage by 19 cents to 10. 74 an hour. In san jose the rate is increasing from 10 to 10. 15 an hour. Californias statewide minimum is currently 8 an hour. A recent bill signed by the governor will increase minimum wage to an hour in july and 10 an hour by 2016. Well, that is how San Francisco announced its Tree Recycling Program today, running trees through a giant wood chipper. If youre ready to take down your tree, from january 2nd to the 15th people in San Francisco and cities across the bay area can put their trees on the curb and recology will pick it up for shredding, a process were told will create new energy for homes. Here in San Francisco, they go to tracy, they put it in a biomass facility which is a form of Renewable Energy and they get turned into energy. November to december so far weve had some air quality issues. So the wind is still offshore. This is a sign that High Pressure has built in off to the east instead of the typical sea breeze, weve got the offshore winds which warms the air up and dries it up off the coast.
