This is a sizable operation, hundreds of thousands of dollars of methamphetamine was coming to and from this location. And Nothing Happened for a full year until we investigated. Weve been talking to students, staff and faculty. They say their investigation didnt go far huff. Reporter hes the dean responsible for the justice studies. Last month he worked to dodge our questions about what many called an incomplete investigation. Your students, your staff and your faculty say the investigation raises questions and if there needs to be more investigation i would have asked for that. Reporter the university investigated an unauthorized checking account, personal and unapproved spending by a Department Head under dean Charles Bullock. It concluded more than a year ago, stating there was no indication of fiscal impropriety. That was done by the campus. It was very narrow. And im concerned. Thats why ive ask the Chancellors Office to do a more total review and audit of that. Reporter more from the president in a moment. Was justice served here . Justice was absolutely not served here. Reporter she is one of the former Justice Studies Department questioning the investigation. The investigation to me seems like its a bit of a coverup. Reporter questioning why it didnt look into tens of thousands of dollars of contracts awarded to friends of associates of the Department Head. Im wondering whats going on in the administrations head and how they justify their inaction. Reporter the universitys investigation followed this letter by then justice studies departme Department Head. He wrote, there were charges i made which i reimbursed. He made that statement after he was questioned about his use of this unauthorized University Checking account. What the professor did was inappropriate, whether it was intentional or inadvertent.
