That sevenhour siege. The paris prosecutor confirmed he was identified by fingerprints and skin sample after that siege in the neighborhood apartment where 5,000 bullets were fired. Now, into the newsroom this morning, just at 4 00, we saw french forensic teams still analyzing the scene at that paris apartment where abaaoud was killed. His body was riddled with bullets and died in that shootout and not by the suicide his cousin. One of the cafes shot up by terrorists. We just obtained this. It shows flying glass and people scrambling for cover. Now, between these images and new propaganda video threatening new york citys times square, as well as restaurants and taxi cabs on the city streets, new yorkers are feeling very unnerved. This is cut with images of paris and of terrorist Sharp Shooters as well as wearing suicide belts. Now, new york leaders say this is propaganda thrown together at the last minute. Released to take advantage of peoples raw nerves, but that the threat is not credible. There is no credible and specific threat against new york city, new york. We now know by now that many of those attackers had belgium roots. In fact, Abdelhamid Abaaoud and he coordinated the massacre of more than 129 people in paris on friday. The two men and women were arrested in portland, oregon, after allegedly gunning down the 67yearolman while he was walking his dog. Also accused of shooting and killing a canadian backpacker just a few days earler i. Each suspect is reportedly charged with two counts of capital murder. If convicted they may face life in prison without parole or the death penalty. Stolen guns from police officers. It is a problem that our Investigative Unit exposed earlier this week. Many times those same guns are used in violent crime. Today one local supervisor hoping to change that. San francisco supervisor david campos set to unveil a proposal that would require guns in cars to store in a lock box or locked trunk. That rule would apply to everybody, including police officers. There have already been several highprofile cases in just the past months of guns stolen from cars. The gun used in the killing of kate steinel was also stolen. New details, a stretch of highway 37 back open after a big rig crash shut down the freeway for more than eight hours. One person died after the collision that involved several big rigs and several cars. It happened around 3 30 yesterday afternoon on highway 37 right near sears point. Chp says two big rigs going in the same direction crashed. The impact pushed the semi in front into the cars. The driver of the second semi died. All lanes just reopened before midnoit. New lawsuits against dozens of tobacco and ecigarette companies accuse offend failing to warn exposures to several harmful chemicals. Bob redell joins us with more on the local nonprofit calling for action. The oakland bay center for Environment Environmental Health has filed these lawsuits against 14 tobacco and ecig companies and the center claims that these companies have failed to warn consumers that ecigs contain nicotine and fail to warn that some ecigarette products contain unsafe levels of one or both of the cancercausing chemicals. Now, the lawsuit argues that after violation of california prop 65, a lawsuit that requires companies to disclose that kind of Public Health information between february and october, the center hired an independent lab to conduct chemical tests on 97 different ecigarettes. The Battery Power devices that vaporize liquid that the user then inhales. The results showed that 90 of the companies had at least one product that contained unsafe levels of at least one of those cancercausing chemicals. Now, tobacco vapor Electronic Cigarette association, thats the trade group. We just spoke with them on the phone and they criticize the cent center for Environmental Health. Those cancercausing chemicals only show up when someone misuses the cigarette and claims that ecig use has led to the largest decline of conventional tobacco use which has killed millions of people over the years. Theyre arguing that theyre much safer than conventional Tobacco Products like cigarettes and weaning people off of that by putting them on to their products. Laura . Thanks so much. The minutes of the most recent meeting do show the a majority of the open markets committee do want to see an Interest Rate hike in december. That fact combine would the dow actually rising that 240 points yesterday, even though investors had that fed information then, to me, guys shows the bad news of Interest Rates already baked in and we worried about it earlier and then even come december, well be kay. But we may see that moving in, once again, even though we are not seeing it now. Taking a look at this camera view. This is what you need to know before you head out the door. The weather headlines mainly clear. And sunrise at 6 51. Sunny and falllike weather again today and near 70 degrees, especially inland. And clear and breezy as we go through the rest of the day. And into the next few days, we will start to see some changes, but, once again, it takes a while before it gets here.
