Rob is here, a little rain coming in. See green on the map behind you. Yes. For may thats unusual to be talking about as much rain. The trend will be interesting for tomorrow morning and to wrap up the weekend. Right now a lot of gray skies around the bay area but not much in the way of too many rain drops yet. Theres the view from emeryville looking back from San Francisco. Gray skies and also a few more gray skies around the south bay. 56 degrees in san jose. There you see dublin 54 mostly cloudy and a few sprinkles, 63 right now over in San Francisco. So weve got the showers here coming in from the north, and notice the mostly cloudy skies. Not a lot of rain underneath the showers, at least right now. But what were watching here is a little more moisture to the north and this little spoke of energy is going to rotate down over the bay area, right around midday today. So well see the rain at times probably picking up a little bit as we head through the afternoon. Watching this batch around midday into the early afternoon and scattered showers into the evening and rain totals here not really all that impressive as we had yesterday almost 0. 2 of an inch of rain in some spots today. Highest totals, though, will be around the north bay. So morning temperatures in the mid 50s as we head towards noon, numbers in the low 60s and highs today mostly in the mid 60s around the bay area. Tomorrow, though, well begin to see temperatures starting to climb up as you see at the bottom of the screen at the sevenday forecast. So rain at times, nothing heavy, but mid 60s around san jose. Low 60s closer to San Francisco. And north bay and trivalley temperatures in the low 60s. Now for the early afternoon game for the giants plan on a few passing showers but the rainfall rates not expected to be too bad out there and by the time we head towards the evening around san jose for the sharks game coming up at 7 00 we will see decreasing showers which is part of the transition to a drier forecast here for the second half of the weekend. So still some lingering showers by 11 00 tonight in the north bay and during the day sunday, partly cloudy skies, some Late Afternoon clearing around the bay area and yes, sundays forecast does look a little warmer. Low to mid 60s today and notice sunday now as winds begin to pick up out of the north, the north bay numbers starting to climb into the low 70s and few spots to wrap up the weekend and monday skies continue to clear part of a transition that will lead us to warmer temperatures this low will finally move away from the west coast and behind it now, High Pressure starting to build in. By the time we get to tuesday, wednesday and thursday, now were talking temperatures in the 70s and 80s. So we have a chance of showers today. Maybe a little more into sunday but whats interesting about this extended outlook for san jose, notice over the next five to ten days, heading into next weekend, things may be trending much drier now as you see numbers starting to climb to the mid 80s by wednesday and thursday, cooling into the gypping of next weekend and that temperature trend holds up for san jose, San Francisco could see numbers climbing closer to 70 by thursday and really no signs of showers after that and the extended forecast and trivalley too could see temperatures climbing, mid 70s by tuesday and numbers in the low 80s towards the middle part of the week, next weekend at this point looks relatively dry. The extended forecast through the 18th, looks pretty dry. Weve had unusually high numbers of rain chances over the last couple days but the next tenday outlook extended forecast for the middle part of the month looks drier with temperatures having a chance to hit the 80s beginning as early as the middle part of next week.
