When you look down right now you see very active scene. Firefighters trying to assess the whole situation. You see some cars there on the street. White car right there and those cars were on fire just about an hour ago. We heard huge explosions. So cars are catching on fire. Residents, nearby residents in the apartment complexes nearby, they are going to wake up to some really astonishing pictures and scene here. The Oscar Pistorius legal saga full of twists and turns has finally come to an end. Pistorius is sentenced to six years in prison for killing his girlfriend. Now, that ruling was handed down by a skoouth african judge overnight and the sentencing is less than the prescribed minimum punishment. Pistorius was facing a possible 15year prison turn for shooting reeva steencamp through a bathroom door in his home. The substantial and compelling circumstances existed in the double amputee runners case to give him a lesser sentence. A developing story in the south bay now. String of shootings in san jose that has neighbors on edge and demanding answers. Police say someone has been targeting people who are driving along blossom hill road between poughkeepsie and monterrey. This happened four times in the last couple of months. Police in san jose are looking for whoever it is who is taking random potshots at people driving down this stretch of blossom hill road near the intersections of monterrey and poughkeepsie. Police tell us they know four incidents over the past couple of months, each time taking place between 12 30 and 1 00 in the morning. The first shooting, may 4th a vehicle was hit. June 2nd, a bullet grazed a man behind the wheel. June 30th, another vehicle hit. Then this past weekend, a woman driver hit by flying glass or bullet shrapnel. Again, no life threatening injuries. And police tell us theyre just not appear to be any known connection between the shooter and his or her targets. We spoke with a woman who lives around here who is upset that police are just now letting the public know about the shootings. They should have at least announced something in the area so people could be watching out and be aware of whats happening. That is so wrong on so many levels. He was arrested jed at his home. A woman claims he raped here two weeks ago at his home and held her at knife point. She was able to get away. The woman says she had dinner with him that night and drove him home. Police say he invited the woman inside to rest and that is when she was allegedly assaulted.
