Authorities believe its similar to the device that did detonate, apparently triggered in some manner by a cell phone. Word is both devices are Pressure Cookers, that they were certainly similar in construct. Reporter the new york Police Bomb Squad used a robot to remove the unexploded device and take it to a lab to be examined numbers of the cell phone. Were doing so intelligently and moving forward. That evidence could be crucial to the case. Reporter as technicians spent the day marking each tiny piece of post blast debris on new yorks 23rd street, Officials Say they had determined the explosive used in the bomb was a commercially available substance called tannerite. Police and federal agents are doing a slow motion analysis of the Surveillance Video of the scene to see whether the bomber could be among the pedestrians walking the sidewalks before the blast.
