You dont expect to hear that the boats and drivers that go on that route all the time, its something you dont picture could happen. And witnesses describe the water was calm today. No word on what caused that boat to sink. Canadian federal investigators will arrive on scene tomorrow. A woman after her paraglider crashes. It happened around 1 00 this afternoon. The woman had injuries to her face, leg and back. Witnesses say the woman was on top of a 600 foothill when the wind picked up causing her to launch before she was ready. She banked right and crashed. At that point in time she popped up about 20 feet in the sky, body swang outwards. In doing so wound up swung back into the hill side. I turned around at the point when she was coming back around into the hill side. The woman is considered experienced pilot and expected to recover. Two others were air lifted to the hospital. The driver of a car was a 22yearold man who died from his injuries. The head on collision happened on highway 120.
