Mount eden road is technically only open to residents. The advisory to stay off roads held up families trying to leave a horse camp in the area. They were on their way after about an hour. San Francisco Police are investigating the murder of a movie location scout at one of the citys most popular Tourist Attractionses. 71yearold Edward French was shot and killed this weekend at the twin peaks lookout. An inmate told his family a deputy severely beat Aaron Stewart in the head. Stewart is facing charges of kidnap, burglary and ought though theft. In an interview youll see only on 7 news, Union President amy lay says the deputy was the victim while trying to handcuff stewart for refusing to obey a lockdown order. Reporter a neighbor tells abc7 news, he turned over video to police he believes show the suspects casing the house from across the street. He says another neighbor has Surveillance Video that shows them even more clearly. Police released a vague description of the suspects. A black male adult between 20 and 30 years old wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The other had some sort of mask over his face, a hand ker chief or surgical mask but from the nose down he was covered. A light skinned blake male or hispanic male adult. Police arrested 41yearold michele cruz in the garage of her house in rohner park on sunday. I could have been poked by it or you know, anybody that walking by you know in flipflops or a child. Reporter the Public Works Department says in march alone, workers collected more than 10,000 needles compared to nearly 3,000 during the same month in the 2016. The thing that the public needs to do is contact 311. I cannot emphasize that enough. Reporter that Service Gives public works employees a better idea where to find needles to dispose of them. These containers are conveniently located near toilets. Theyre part of the Pit Stop Program allowing people to drop used needles in this box. The Justice Department will soon make it easier for local Law Enforcement to seize cash and property from crime suspects. Attorney general Jeff Sessions says the department will increase the use of Asset Forfeiture especially for drug suspects. This practice has been criticized because it allows Law Enforcement to take possessions like cars and money without indictments or evidence that a crime has been committed. Local Law Enforcement often use the forfeited proceeds to pay expenses. Well, the fix has begun.
