San Francisco Police chief faced angry crowd tonight at town hall style meeting. Greg sir Gave Department side of why officers shot and killed 28yearold man in the park friday night. Victim family calls the shooting unjustified. Chief sir says based on what he knows about the tragedy at the park, he is not second guessing his officers. At 11 35 this Morning Police surrounded Crescent Park apartments on hartnett avenue to find at least 2 cars with bullet holes. No one was hit but police made 3 arrest. This Afternoon Police served a winter to look for evidence and found 3 weapons. Police are checking to see whether weapons were used in todays shooting. And tonight san Francisco Police are announcing the arrest of 2 people believed to be the gunman in sunday night shooting in San Francisco. 8 people wounded by gunshots standing at turk and taylor streets in the tenderloin. Police took 25yearold Curtis Warren and 24yearold jones into custody in emeryville. Both suspects who are San Francisco residents face charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault. Well police began head handing out fliers at the Richmond Bart station tonight in an effort to stem the rise in smart phone thefts happening all the time these daisy. The fish got trucked in to shorten the migration to the ocean. 7 News Reporter laura has more now from rio vista. Never been done before on this scale. First of millions. Baby salmon trucked from the National Fish hatchery in Northern California for release into the delta. In some case over 200 miles of River Habitat to get them away from some of the stressors of high water temperature, low river flow and increased exposure to predatory fivrnlt the danger this year are entirely due to the drought. These tiny fish to travel on their own far too dangerous. Conditions in the river right now are not if favorable to releasing of these fish. So we have decide we are going to truck all the state fall run chinook this. Reporter operation will continue for the next 2 and a half months. 240 truck runs as many as 30 million fish from state federal hatchery. The fish will be 3yearold which is adults in the year 2 2016. They will provide the majority of what we catch in the ocean and inland river fishery in 2016. Magnet for graffiti and magnet for illegal dumping. Reporter thats the community activist. He wants the city to regulate them because of the kind of trash these bin attract. Just hand the 2 on telegraph avenue people had dumped a few mattress sofa book case and several other large items. At Oakland City Hall special Committee Heard arguments on why they should regulate the bin and require the owners of these boxs to keep the area clean. If theres any trash around the area within 20 pet of the bin they have to pick it up and remove it. Thats 7 days a week. Reporter right now anything dumped here is eventually picked up by Community Groups or by the city. The committee is also proposing that operators of the bin purchase a permit. Yearly fee of 650 dollars. They operate several bin. We collect furniture outside of the bin but only want shoes and clothes. We collect things from washing machine to dryer and things that people want to dropoff at the locations. Reporter this is controversial because its a for profit company. While they say they are keeping millions of items from getting into our land fill, they also make money by selling what they collect here. None of these company pay taxes to the city of oakland on the earnings. Salvation army which also has a few boxes says it also cuts into their business. Takes money out of the community. Unseasonable dust storm rolled through Central Arizona this afternoon. This wall of dust shut down visibility to near zero when it arrived near phoenix at 3 30 this afternoon. There were at least 5 crashes reported on i10 south east of the city. Rare dust storm hits this early in the year. Now one was started when a written storm and neighboring region kicked up dust from the desert there are and pushed it through greener areas. Just such a wild phenomenal in that part of arizona.
