He was sentenced to 30 days at home all the while he appealed his conviction. The ninth Circuit Court of appeals did that bonds answer did not affect the case against balco. We interviewed scott osler. He was not surprised. He said the conviction was unfair. I had never heard him give any answer that wasnt round about and evasive. Thats just the way he talks. I didnt think he was trying to break a law. Osler said he will vote for bonds for the hall of fame. And this may not be over. He was arested on monday. Prosecutors say he met the victim when he busted her for prostitution in 2002. She says she gave him 450,000, paying part of his mortgage and his property taxes. Investigators say he promised her they would get married when he retired. Hayward place said they did not know he was involved in any illegal activity before he retired in 2013. Heroic neighbors rushed to a fire that sent a woman to the hospital. The Early Morning fire was huge by the time it was discovered and 911 was called. This cell phone video of the fire was captured by olin stillwell. Neighbors yelled to evacuate. Some stayed behind, helping others that could not get out quickly. The ladys apartment that was on fire, she was stuck. I asked other neighbors to come and kick the door open. Thats how they got her out. She was frantic. The ambulance took her. People helped each other. A Police Officer was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. What caused the fire is unknown at this point. In San Francisco today, a sum summons between the mayor and other groups. Solutions may be coming to help the homeless, but just for a few people at a time.
