The robbers took a woman hostage and used her as a human shield. Steve alreadies with what she said. Reporter you feel like you have a connection with misty now . Yes. Tell me about that. Um, i saw in her eyes, you know, that she was scared and that this is going to be it. Reporter Janie Martinez is one of the last people to see misty holtsingh alive. Misty was crying saying her daughter was alone in the car. She was saying i dont want my daughter to see me coming out with you. And they said, dont worry. Nothing is going to happen. And they took her anyway. Reporter martinez was inside the bank when the three Armed Robbers ran inside. And they had guns. And then, it was happening so fast that they had the security guard. When they announced that the Police Officers were there, they said we are going to take hostages. Reporter they said that . Yeah. Reporter they used those words . Yeah. Reporter how did they determine who to take . I dont know. They just grabbed misty, the bank teller and another one. They didnt want men, they wanted women. Reporter the Armed Robbers left with a gun pointed at each womans head. We were crying hoping that no harm would come to them, but they did. Reporter a dark day for this Stockton Community and for martinez, a day that will forever connect her to the mother and wife who didnt want her daughter to see her in danger. She was thinking about her daughter outside in the car waiting for her. And that she didnt want to see her like that. Police are still looking for the fourth suspect who dropped off the robbers at that bank. And oakland woman went gambling this evening and left her two young kids in the car while she tried to strike it rich. She left her two and threeyear old children strapped in their car seats outside casino 580 in livermore. Someone saw the kid and called the police. Execution gone wrong tonight. This inmate was strapped to the gurney gasping and snorting. Two hours later, he finally died. Andria borba, tell us what happened inside the death chamber. The incidents of melanoma in marin county is 43 higher than the rest of the bay area. And death rates are 18 higher than in the rest of the state. Doctors here in marin county told me they knew that skin cancer rate here was high. They just didnt know how high. I did not know that specifically melanoma was so much higher. Reporter the doctor says the dermatology offices see and her colleagues are treating 300 cases of skin cancer a year, but why marin county . It is sunnier than the city. People in marin county are very active. Reporter not only that. The population is a little older. A lot more fair skin and access to healthcare. So perhaps we are also finding more skin cancers earlier. Reporter that is the bright side. People who live here know the risks and are seeking treatment. Her advice . Get out there, enjoy your life.
