Outside the Police Station with new information. Reporter the victims mother said her daughter was pregnant with her fifth child but police say the shooting here was a targeted one. The question tonight, what are police doing to make sure drivers are safe . She has four kids. Four kids. Reporter four kids without a mother. And a family pleading for help. Somebody seen something. We are begging you, i am begging you. Please come forward. Reporter she was shot and killed while driving down highway 4 this morning. The vehicle collided after the vehicle was shot at several times times and then caught on fire. Reporter this is what the car looked like after it crashed. Her family says the car belonged to her boyfriend. He was also shot in the arm but is expected to be okay. This is a young lady. Gunned down like she was nothing. Reporter this is the second shooting on highway 4 in the past month. Police are now asking the city for 100,000 to install cameras along the highway to keep drivers safe. We met with the california highway patrol, local agencies throughout the county and we are looking for solutions. Reporter city council is expected to vote on a resolution to install cameras long highway 4 next monday. Cate cauguiran kpix 5. The sex scandal rocking the Oakland Police officer. Reporter Police Officers accused of engaging a Sexual Misconduct with a teenage girl. The Department Confirms three Police Officers are on paid administrative leave and an investigation under way. The police said they would not tolerate misconduct and hold all employees accountable for their actions. The identities of the officers are not being released at this time. Reporter investigators just wrapped up the crime scene after shut down the road for some 11 hours today. The house where the deadly shooting happened was up the street and tonight investigators are still searching for a motive. Reporter tonight we watched the mortuary van roll by and investigators put evidence into large bag. Several hours after the violence began. A sleepy community. Wow i am shocked and horrified. The drama unfolded here inside a home. Sheriffs deputies showed up this morning after 911 call. They found one man shot to death. Another man injured. And a get away car. We got a description of a prius. Deputies got in a pursuit. The chase ended like this on highway 17. The driver lost control and crashed into wall. The passenger was hurt and died at the hospital. The driver took off running but was caught by deputies. The highway was shut down for hours. This is very serious crime. Two people were killed. We dont know their associations. High speeds. Highway 17. Very dangerous. Special suspects in a violent crime. It goes against the grain. We are a close nit and loving community. Reporter the driver of the prius has been detained and sheriffs deputies have not said how the people involved in the violent chain of events are related orreleased name or released names. The fire broke out along interstate 80 just before 5 00 p. M. Firefighters say this car ignited the flames flames and that is that is left. The fire brought rush hour traffic to a halt. The fire did not threaten any homes. No injuries reported. In San Francisco calls to get rid of the police chief. Joe vazquez is at city hall. Supervisors want him gone . Reporter for weeks now we have been watching loud demonstrations, people outside of city hall saying they are tired of the Police Shootings and they want the chief fired. Today for the first time battle lines are being drawn inside. You need to remove this man. Crowd at the Police Commission meeting lights in to police chief greg suhr. Reporter now the chief is in a bigger hot seat. Several San Francisco supervisors are calling for his removal. There is also a counter chorus insisting he should stay. Time for us to start a search for a new police chief. This is a publicity stunt by a colleague. Supervisor kim is trying to get headline. But this chief is moving forward. This is governing by mob rule. Police chief greg suhr has to lead it reforms. No outsider will be able to implement the reforms. This report that came out is a game changer.
