The stage and screen star suffered a stroke in the wake of her daughters death. Reynolds was rushed to the hospital this afternoon and by 5 00 her son announced she had passed away at the age of 84. Reporter weve learned that that suspected drunk driver had a misdemeanor dui warrant out for her arrest meaning that if she came into contact with Law Enforcement, she would have been arrested, but, of course, that encounter never happened before the crash. People stopped by two memorials tonight just a few yards from each other, one for a 14year old boy identified by the Santa Clara County medical Examiners Office as andrew nguyen. He was sitting in the back seat of this lexus with his parents in front when police say 25 yearold Jessica Zamora smashed head on into them killing andrew. Authorities suspect jessica had been driving drunk in her chevy malibu. At some point she crossed the median on capital expressway near snell avenue and plowed into the nguyen familys car just after midnight on christmas. First responders rushed both jessica and andrew to the hospital where they died shortly after the crash. Right now state law dictates that background checks can only go back seven years, but starting january 1st Ride Sharing Companies will be able to look at a drivers entire criminal history.
