Kpix 5s anne makovec is following the case and joins us live in the newsroom. Reporter some of these officers are accused of having sex with a girl who was under age. But our sources say it is unlikely that the d. A. Will actually charge them with statutory rape. Thats because they say the woman at the center of the scandal has lied and they dont have enough evidence to prove her claims. She goes by the name celeste guap the daughter of an Oakland Police dispatcher and in interviews she told officials she had sex with 14 officers from the oakland pd, three when she was under age. The oakland mayor announced wednesday that four officers have lost their jobs over this scandal but we have learned that actually two of them resigned a few months ago and one sergeant who was linked to the scandal retired last december. State law prevents her from sharing information about the specific officers but they will never work as police again. That goes on their permanent personnel record. That record will always be checked should that individual seek a Law Enforcement job. Reporter seven or officers caught in the scandal are suspended without pay. But for some of them, thats for no more than two weeks. We are hearing that several could appeal. Some of the possible criminal charges that could be announced today, attempted sexual assault, lewd conduct, assisting in the crime of prostitution, or accessing Law Enforcement databases for personal gain. Yes, Livermore Police announced one of their officers resigned after being accused of having sex with guap. She is also implicating officers from richmond and three l. A. County deputies. Former 49er bruce miller is set to hear the charges against him today. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court. Its for charges related to an incident early monday morning. Prosecutors say that miller was drunk and attacked an older man and his son. Miller is facing seven felony charges including assault with a deadly weapon. Prosecutors say he used a cane to beat the 70yearold man. He is also charged with inflicting injury on an elder. Two counts of criminal threats, as well. Miller was shown on Surveillance Video wandering the halls around the time after the tax. He was cut from the team that day. The man suspected in car shootings in blossom hill road in san jose is due in court today. Michael lewis was in court yesterday to face weapons possession charges. Todays appearance will involve charges directly related to the shootings along blossom hill road. No one was seriously hurt in the shootings. San jose police say they were able to link a weapon found in lewis home to bullets and casings found in four of the 10 shootings. San Francisco Police offering a quarter of a Million Dollars to close a murder case that happened more than a year ago. In january last year gunmen started shooting into a car on laguna street in hayes valley. Four men were shot multiple times and each died at the scene.
