Thank you. Developing now in washington state, a standoff with a suspect who reportedly shot and killed a Police Officer. The attack happened in tacoma. Authorities say the officer was responding to a Domestic Violence call. There was some sort of fight, and the suspect reportedly shot the officer several times before he fled. The manhunt for two jail escapees from Santa Clara County is now over. Both captured within hours of each other. Yeah, this certainly has the beginning and end of the hollywood movie with two escapees on the run after they broke out of jail here just before thanksgiving. Now, Rogelio Chavez was arrested after a sevenhour standoff in san jose. Investigators say he was hiding in his friends attic, was high, and had drugs on him. Now, his capture comes nearly 24 hours after the arrest of Laron Campbell, who investigators say was hiding at his sisters apartment in antioch. Now, investigators say he crashed through the ceiling of the attic as marshals were serving a search warrant. There may be additional arrests of people who harbored chavez during the time that he had escaped. Fugitive chavez was in possession of narcotics and we believe he is under the influence and he has been transported to a local hospital. Reporter now, in all, three women were arrested for allegedly helping the men while they were on the run for a week including a woman who allegedly helped chavez get to a gilroy motel and campbells sister and as you heard there the sheriff says that more charges could be expected. Now as you may remember, the jail escapees escaped right behind me by sawing through window bars on their second story floor cell and rappelled down using bedsheets. On november 18, a 15yearold Carondelet High School female student says she was attacked. Three days later she reported the incident to administrators and police were contacted. So many rappers talk about chess, right . I realized that i can use that as a lure to bring them into the game. The highway was shut down for nearly two hours during rush hour. Police say shots were fired near the fruitvale offramp. A man and woman were shot. Officers searched a white car at the bottom of the fruitvale offramp. No word on what they found. The victims are in the hospital in stable condition right now. The Cirque Du Soleil worker who was killed in a San Francisco accident was the son of a cofounder of the entertainment group. He is identified as olivier rochette of quebec. Investigators say he was getting or he was set upping for the luzia show setting up for the luzia show when he was struck. The last two shows were canceled. The status of upcoming shows is unclear.
