Robbery suspect who hid out at a starbucks during a freeway manhunt has been caught. 20yearold dandre mccloud was busted near his moms place in san leandro. Police say he tried to bribe officers to release him. Interstate 880 in fremont was closed for hours last month while police searched for him. Witnesses saw him grab a drink at starbucks with blood on his hands before taking off in a getaway car. A golden gate transit bus hit and killed a jogger crossing a busy San Francisco street this morning. 51yearold laurie helmer was near van ness and lombard after 6 a. M. The bus had commuters on board. The driver was making a right hand turn on to van ness lefthand turn on van ness when it hit the jogger. The jogger died at the hospital. They will use Surveillance Video to determine what happened. This is a very, very dangerous spot. Lots of traffic, lots of fast traffic, confusing turns. Whoever is walk the streets in this area has to be very, very careful. The Transit District says the bus driver has been with the agency for more than 35 years and has a good safety record. He will be placed on leave during the investigation. Police say a livermore mother was driving under the influence with her 4yearold son when she crashed and rolled her car. She is under arrest for dui and felony child endangerment. The mother was on her way to pick up two other children from school. No one was injured. A rapper is asking fans to look out for her bands van after it was stolen in oakland last night. She posted this photo of the van to her social media account with the caption, really sad to say that our van and all our gear was stolen. [ music ] she show continues. Allen, some porn stars turned protestors say that the state needs to step in to help prevent the spread of stds but some in the industry say that they are all getting worked up over an issue that does not exist. Its very scary because those stds can cause you to have hiv. Reporter this actress contracted hiv last year and won a suit against a studio. Keep people from getting sick, you know, it would be better off as a whole. Reporter this is a manufactured crisis. We have had zero onset hiv transmission in 10 years zero. Reporter he works as the director of Sexual Health and advocacy for the company that oversees kink studios. He says strict enforcement of condoms in porn violates the right to choose for performers who are tested every two weeks. Condoms are always a choice. We dont speak against condoms at all. Consumers shouldnt need to ask that but in our universe the way the game is played, you have to ask everything. Reporter adler says that includes price checking the procedure.
