Looks like hackers may be after your kids gaming system. Gaming and tech websites say that the Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox Online Networks are dealing without angles today caused by cyber attacks. That group lizard squad says its responsible. Different hackers promised Christmas Day mischief if sony released the movie the interview. Sony and microsoft have not confirmed the reasons for the outages. One guy got a surprise when he opened a Sony Playstation 4 package. Instead of the gaming system, he says there were two bags of rocks. They weighed about the same as an actual playstation but when he tried to return that to walmart, employees didnt buy his story. Another house this one in the san jose foothills erupted in flames about 10 00 this morning. It took firefighters about an hour to get that fire under control. A woman and her two dogs escaped. They were not hurt. Investigators think that fire likely started because of problems with the fireplace. The family of a woman killed during a shootout after a bank robbery is helping other families this christmas. They gave out gifts along with Stockton Police to people who have lost loved ones to violent crime. More than 30 people were helped. A woman was taken hostage from a bank robbery. Misty was killed during the shootout with police. Investigators say the robbers used her as a human shield. Video from inside the bank showed her pleading with robbers to let her go. It is the brainchild of john marcoti who got the idea after stopping at a fastfood restaurant a few years ago on Christmas Day. And they had a sign there that said, we will be open Christmas Day and i told my wife, i said thats the saddest thing i have ever heard. We agree [ laughter ] it is the fourth year for the cookie project. It has now spread to all 50 states. About 7,000 cookies were delivered today in sacramento. They missed us. Well, you know. Not only in livermore, likely near or below freezing in and around fairfield and vacaville, napa, calistoga, santa rosa, rohnert park, and even 37 in redwood city, 36 tonight in san jose. So it is going to be cold outside. So why . What changed . Well, our air is no longer coming up from the south and west, which brought in some warm, humid air, a lot of rainfall, a lot of cloud cover, lows in the 50s. Now were talking about our source of air coming down from the north using a ski reference a sort of our air is coming from whistler, british columbia, beautiful spot but its a cold spot, as well. High pressure anchored off the oregon coastline continuing that tap of arctic air all the way into and through the weekend so afternoons will be chilly, mornings will be cold, until next week, when it gets even colder. We get a reinforcing push of cold air, wrapping around in the area of low pressure. So next week we wont have frosty mornings. We likely will have freezing mornings away from the water.
