Reporter they say its private property and they say its way too dangerous for families and kids to live near the track. We needed a cleanup effort for safety reasons. We didnt want anyone hit by a train. This was unjust, unhumane. Reporter theyre upset about cleaning crews taking down the structures and the tents. But theyre upset about the trash left behind, cooking pots, a lot of clothes, shoes, tools, and here you have a backpack. And so far, no one has said theyll come back to clean this up. Not Union Pacific, not the city, not the county. The trash stretches a block back that way. If your purpose was to get rid of the trash, clean it up. What they did, they got rid of the people.
