Let me show you a video from chopper five. In the san jose airport. The team going from separate but several luxury buses. They are in the air on their way to seattle. A day earlier than the usually go. Some of the players came up with the idea. They thought it would be a good idea. And help the team to be together in extra day. They got a send off for football kings. They could hardly contain themselves. Fans brother children. Some brought their luckyks this the fans did their part too. Brian webb, with a talk about the fans coming this way. Also, the players coming this way. We had a team that came in last night headed by john york, the owner of the 49ers. I bumped into him today. It is not all about football . It is all about football. There are a lot of other things that go into that. You have to make sure you are healthy. What is the mood . There are a lot of seahawks fans out there. I dont think they think there will be 49ers fans. I think they will be wrong. I ran into a couple a little while ago. They seemed enthusiastic. What about the game sunday . Very big and very loud. I think jim harbaugh and the guys have everybody ready. They look very prepared. It will be a great game. We have had a good run. The scallops here are unbelievable. What about lunch time . Maybe swordfish or smoked salmon. The 49ers owner was eating well. We are glad to have the chance to talk to him. We are working on a piece tonight. One of the things people have been trying to get up here, is a ticket to this game. Nearly impossible. And people in San Francisco have been looking for super bowl tickets. He has that report. Reporter jim harbaugh, calling him a super fan, doesnt begin to describe. In 51, i started being a fan and went to every game since 1951. Every home game, for about 62 years. That is 631 games. When irwin started his sixth decade history, a gallon of gas cost 19 since. And his 49ers ticket cost 2. 75. The cost of the super bowl . 4000. That is without airfare. It includes a game ticket, a hotel for three nights and a ride to the game. Tickets alone started at 2500. Nofrills hotels normally at 100 a night are going for 10 times that. Last year, he waited until after the niners had a win in the championship. Every package was either filled. Or the price had gone out. This year, he started planning early and went to a website that guarantees a refund if your team does not make it. So this year, we are confident we will make it. We have already made arrangements. He will be in the stands. That is no surprise considering his track record. Kpix news. Tickets. Where to get tickets. Be careful where you get your tickets. Coming up at 6 30 p. M. , we will talk to you about a scam that took over 1000 from a man from the bay area. He thought he was getting 49ers tickets. But he got a headache instead. The governor is asking everybody from farmers to homeowners to cooperate. And cut water use by 20 . The past experience shows that one water is running out, cooperation ins with water fights is ending with a water fight. Environmental protections could be under discussion. We hope that is not what happens. Salmon fishermen say that rivers are so low that hatchery juveniles will not be able to make it. They want hatcheries to avoid rivers. And truck fingerlings to the bay. But the hatchery argues it interferes with the salmon ability to find their way home. If we dont move them and trucks, there wont be any to lose their way back home 10 years in two years from now. Farmers declared disaster areas, can receive federal interest loans. And under the governors declaration, the chance to buy and sell water. It has an impact on human beings. It has an impact on habitat for Natural Resources here as well. It is absolutely killing farmers and ranchers in the valley right now. Just about every Water District around the bay worries about supply. San franciscos customers are sitting pretty. That is because the reservoir is good for about seven or eight years. We are told they will look at conservation to decide whether to make it voluntary or mandatory. Kpix five. Now that the state is in a drought emergency, protesters are calling on the governor to stop oil shocking. They say the process wastes millions of gallons of water at a time.
