Police blocked off the scene outside johnny vs on santa clara street earlier this morning. Investigators say the suspect was bothering customers then stabbed the offduty bouncer outside the bar. At some point down the line there were some witnesses there who point out a potential suspect or possible suspect in the stabbing. Officers made contact with that person down the street probably a block away near market street. That person was arrested without incident and brought down here to the San Jose Police department. People who knew the victim left flowers by the scene and say he was a neighborhood hero. The names of the suspect and victim are not being released at this time. A driver with a history of speeding is under arrest for a deadly pedestrian crash in San Francisco. Police say they caught mageb hussein as he tried to walk away from the scene of the crash. The smashed car stopped partly on the sidewalk on van ness avenue in the Pacific Heights neighborhood early this morning. Police say the victim tried to cross the street in the middle of the block. The name of the pedestrian has not yet been released. Other bay area headlines, this car is one of several that got mangled after a car chase in antioch this morning. Police say the driver of the stolen car refused to stop, ran a revved light and hit three other cars at the intersection of lone tree way and davidson drive. Police arrested the driver. Reporter witnesses thought he carjacked a red sedan with an elder man and a 13yearold girl inside. Police at the time treated it as a case of kidnapping. Now police have located the elderly driver who is actually in his 50s. All three know each other. The 13yearold girl is actually an adult. Both she and the man in the Surveillance Video are still on the run. Police believe the guy in the video is this man, roy mccamey. Police are now interviewing the man in custody.
