But it could be empty next year. The raiders coliseum lease expires after this season. And raiders owner mark davis says he has no plans to extend the contract leaving fans fearing he could move the team back to l. A. As soon as next year. That would suck. I would be pissed. Well, the warriors are introducing themselves tonight to their new neighbors. The team is meeting right now with residents of San Franciscos Mission rock neighborhood. That is where they plan to build a new arena and have it ready by 2018. The warriors are also looking to develop some office space there. Most of the people at the meeting told us that they are curious to see what the project is going to look like. Im interested to see how they are able to design this thing to go from basically a water bay setting to a land bay setting. The warriors are still working on the drawings for the arena. They are not expected to be done until september. The original plan had that arena on the water at pier 30 32. Developing news tonight. Bay area cities joined in a moment of silence to remember an unarmed teen killed by police in missouri. Hundreds of people gathered on the steps of Frank Ogawa Plaza in oakland. It was a show of unity with those protesting the death of Michael Brown in ferguson, missouri. At San Francisco civic center plaza, people stood with their hands raised during the moment of silence. That gesture now a growing symbol of the killing in ferguson. An incident is striking an emotional chord for many. What about these peoples freedom of humanity, nobody saying anything about that and its [ pause ] it is the fifth night of protests in ferguson. Hundreds of people are gathering in the streets tonight. But so far, a much different tone than what we have seen this week. At one Point Police Officers joined with protestors leading one march. Authorities say their job is to protect people and leading the way is a sign of trust. Meantime a captain with the missouri Highway Patrol has been appointed to restore order. This is my community. A lot of people i saw walking this march are people that i know. Peoples homes i have been to. Their kids have been to my homes. So the old saying ive got a big dog in this fight. Downtown st. Louis tonight, another show of solidarity. This time on the grounds across from the citys landmark arch. Hundreds of people crowded together with their hands up. Reporter and said a brief prayer with the police chief and homicide investigators. That was the exact hour eight years ago today when they are was gunned down here. I have no closure. Reporter aubrey was 17. She is hoping a witness may have seen who killed him. He was heading to an after school job as a Rec Center Basketball coach when aubrey saw two gunmen about to shoot someone. He yelled out. Turn around and shot him 30 times with a semiautomatic gun. And my life changed that day. Its never been the same. Reporter homicide inspectors have suspects in mind but no evidence to arrest them. We just need somebody to give us enough to make a move so that the d. A. Will charge him and push the case. Reporter the intended targets of the shooters got away because of aubreys warning. But what frustrates his mom, they know who the shooters are, but theyre not telling police. So brown puts up posters hoping to trigger the memories of possible witnesses. Not only for her sons case, but other cold cases that remain unsolved. You know, this is my life now. Photos just released may help police catch the suspects in the shooting outside a mall in san leandro. These men were caught on Surveillance Video before the shooting. The man on the left was wearing a black and red baseball cap. The man to his right has multiple tatoos. The woman in this photo is also wanted. This fourth suspect is a woman who was wearing a gray hoodie with black pants. The shooting happened monday morning in the mall parking lot. Witnesses say there may have been an argument earlier inside a shoe store. The man who was hurt was shot in the leg. San francisco firefighters have knocked down a twoalarm fire at the church in the mission district. A viewer also posted a photo of the fire on twitter. Thick, black smoke flames could be seen from several blocks away. Investigators say that roofers were working on the building when the flames first broke out. Chopper 5 shows firefighters as they focused their response on the heavily damaged roof. It happened at the Universal Church on 20th street just before 3 p. M. Nobody was hurt. Williams widow released a Statement Today saying it is our hope in the wake of robins tragic passing that others will find the strength to see the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid. Cbs reporter lisa siegel takes a look at one mans struggle with that disease and whats on the horizon to treat it. In costa rica. Reporter 50yearold michael was living what he called a normal life. Beautiful wife, young kids, and then the symptoms started. That was 14 years ago. The first thing was stiffness in my left ankle then i started having problems with my left arm wasnt moving when i walked and finally i started having loss of coordination with my fingers of my left hand. Reporter the diagnosis, parkinsons disease. A neurodegenerative disease that, over time, can result in debilitating tremors and paralysis. He remembers how he felt the moment he heard and for a long time after. Denial, uhm, depression, grieving, acceptance. Thats where i am now. Reporter for michael it took years. But his views did change. I always exercise. That was real important. Medication helps. The deep brain stimulation helps. Therapy helps. Its really the full kind of whole body approach i guess. Its not a terminal disease. Reporter dr. Jeff boston marathonstein head of the Movement Disorders program at ucla says the diagnosis for most is overwhelm. When people get the diagnosis they know very little about it and then the disease itself can cause depression, even before the motor symptoms occur. Reporter he says new treatments are on the horizon. But already, whats out there is allowing people to live long Productive Lives in ways doctors always hoped for. We have patients who have had the disease over 30 years running marathons. Its quite amazing. Reporter michael wine man says he has come a long way and is living life to the fullest and even inspired by high profile people like michael j. Fox for his continued dedication to research and openness. He also applauds williams wife for sharing the diagnosis publicly so others can deal with any struggles they have. People will support you. And theyre there. They will be there for you. I dont let it hold me back. Reporter michael runs a support group every, single month. He says support is everything. So is a sense of humor. Kpix 5 reporter ryan takeo shows us two east bay cities using the purple pipe to go green. My lawn is dead, crackling dry. Reporter in the trivalley, brown grass is the norm. We havent watered probably for at least two months. Reporter across the sidewalk from lisa, it feels like a different world. Lush, green and in need of a mow. Reporter its green without the guilt. As long as people flush their toilets, we have the source. We clean it up. Reporter dublin and san ramons common areas like medians, parks and schools all use recycled waste water. To keep the area green but they are not part of our lawn at this point. Reporter underground its an entirely different pipe system. So the treated waste water doesnt mix with drinking water. The dub San Ramon Services distribute has spent more than 20 million over the past two decades to make it happen. It costs money, takes time, planning and preparation but thankfully we have it today. Reporter if not for the purple pipes the water supply would be much tighter. Here they have already made customers cut back 25 . Any new developments like here in east dublin must have purple pipes and hook up to the recycled water supply. Its another reason the area uses so much more recycled waste water than other water districts. 22 of the water dublinsan ramon sells is recycled water.
