They are designed like nothing ever before, incredibly unique from the glass front that curves around the side, it is truly the most beautiful phone you have ever seen. Reporter and they will be bigger, 4. 7 and 5. 5, two different sizes. Compare that to the 4 now. They will also be the thinnest phones they have ever made and also with an improved camera for killer selfies. It will have a barometer pressure to estimate elevation loss and gainers a chip for mobile payments they call apple pain. Uber and panera and open table will accept the wireless payments for starters. The iwatch looks like a traditional watch. The winding dial rotates the icons around and the watch face is a touchscreen. It can be used for mobile payments too, unlocking hotel room doors, controlling thermostats and apple tv. It has a big Health Fitness component with a builtin heartbeat sensor in the back panel, big news for people who wear the old style heart rate monitors. Garmin devices and other devices are cumbersome and difficult to use and you have to have a separate watch and link it up with the exercise stuff, its a nuisance and the straps. They are great products but they are complicated. Thats a device that is open for innovation in that space, not too many players, all the big guys are there. But pretty cumbersome to use. The excavating has been tearing down the building for hours. Well show you video of it in action. Its hard to believe fremont with the fourth largest population in the bay area doesnt have a designated downtown. The mayor says when five towns formed fremont in the 50s, they squabbled as to who would get main street. And so a downtown never formed. Today is the start of a downtown decades in the making. Its what fremont has been lacking. When the five small towns come together, each of them wanted the downtown in their own area so historically, it means fremont is coming to its age. We have a theme that the downtown is on the rise. But before it can rise, we have to take this building down. Its coming down in style and drawing a crowd, too. Once this building comes down over the next couple of days, crews will start work on extending capitol avenue to fremont boulevard. That work will be done by next spring. Today marks four years since the deadly pg e pipeline explosion in san bruno. There is still more recovery work ahead. But of the 38 homes that were destroyed, 24 have been rebuilt. The state Public Utilities commission recently announced a 1. 4 billion fine against pg e. Critics say the amount should have been higher. Another earthquake hit Northern California in the last hour. Cutting down on car theft is behind a plan to raise car registration fees in san mateo county. Today the sheriff is asking the board of supervisors to double the 1 fee to fund the vehicle theft tax force. The amount was set 20 years ago and the sheriff says its time for an increase. This afternoon Congressional Republican leaders are meeting with president obama along with top Congressional Democrats to hear the president s plan to combat isis. Here nom of that subtropical moisture moved up into none of that subtropical moisture moved up into this direction.
