Here she is amber vinson the texas nurse was on a flight with more than 100 people the day before she was diagnosed. A couple of days ago she flew from cleveland to dallasfort worth on a Frontier Airlines flight. Crews are cleaning a Frontier Airlines jet at hopkins airport in cleveland after learning the latest ebola patient was on board monday. The cdc is notifying passengers on the plane but say the woman showed no signs of illness during the flight. The patient flew from cleveland to dallas where she is now in isolation at Texas Health Presbyterian hospital. Officials warn this may be the last case. We are preparing contingencies for more and that is a very real possibility. Reporter the female Healthcare Worker was part of the team that treated Thomas Thomas eric duncan who died last week from the virus. Hazmat teams are decontaminating the area around her apartment and a reverse 911 call went out to homes in the neighborhood. The overnight diagnosis follows new accusations dallas Healthcare Workers were not prepared for ebola. The head of National Nurses united a group based in oakland says workers received little protective gear and duncans lab samples were mishandled. Initially what was said is that these nurses werent following protocols. They say there was no protocol. Reporter were a hospital that may have done some things different with the benefit of what we know today that makes no mistake. No one wants to get this right more than our hospital. Reporter 75 other Healthcare Workers who cared for duncan are being monitored for ebola as well along with nearly 50 others outside the hospital who had some level of contact with them. Senator padilla is meeting with state emergency officials at San Francisco city hall doing that right now getting an update on installing a statewide system. The Early Warning system will cost 80 million and could provide up to a minute warning for a big quake. We have 38 Million People who produce the worlds 8th largest economy on the shakiest ground in the united states. The technology exists that will allow us to save lives and reduce injuries in the event of a big earthquake. I feel compelled to bring that benefit to the general public. Governor brown signed a bill last year ordering the development and the funding of an Early Warning system by the year 2016. A bay rescue happening rate now in the bay. It may look alarming but its actually part of a practice exercise with the San Francisco fire department, coast guard and the golden gate ferry service. Dozens of volunteers were involved in the simulated ferry accident. They were rescued from the water taken to the shore on stretchers. The exercise is practice for multiple agencies. All the work to coordinate an effort during an actual rescue operation. A preliminary report says the air tanker that crashed into a canyon wall in Yosemite National park may have struck a tree losing its wing before going down. The air tanker crashed just over a week ago killing veteran pilot craig hunt. The ntsb report confirms he had made one retardant drop on the dog rock fire and was headed back to the airport to reload. Hunt joined two other planes in the firefighting operation. A man and woman have been hospitalized both in Critical Condition after they were attacked by four pit bulls at their modesto home. Stanislaus county sheriffs deputies responded to a 911 call yesterday found the dogs mauling a man in the backyard and then found an 85yearold woman who had been attacked inside the home. Deputies shot and killed two of the dogs and followed the others into a yard and killed them there. Investigators are now trying to determine who owned the dogs because they could be liable. Theres a new way for water to flow into the bay area from the high sierra. Today water will run from a new tunnel into Crystal Springs reservoir in san mateo county.
