Sometimes its 1906 and sometimes its six events comparable if not larger than loma prieta. Reporter for the last 14 years scientists have been trenching along the ground of major bay area earthquake faults. What they found deep in the dirt was evidence of major ground shifting dating back to the 1600s and 1700s. Right now the core of the low is just swinging on by right now and that will continue to move through slowly throughout day today so we are going to keep things a little unsettled outside.
