He was wounded in the shooting and was later arrested at highland hospital. Mr. Sims was not only present on the day of the murder. But he had an active role in a mutual gun battle. Mondays gunfight erupted after several men got involved in a fistfight between groups of women. One gun was recovered. But police are not saying whether it was used to kill pierce or whether sims fired the fatal shot. Police have released more details about the arrest of 49ers fullback bruce miller. He allegedly assaulted his girlfriend 8 days ago. They got into an argument and he pushed her to the ground and destroyed her cell phone. The alleged attack is just the latest of the off the field problems for the 49ers. Nfl as an organization should stand up against abuse, should stand up against domestic violence. So we are going to call it friday light just a little blip of slow traffic for west 580 just as you approach the 205 interchange. Now, the bay bridge commute, you have the same roadwork you have there almost every morning. Its the two right lanes shut down westbound 80 as you travel across the bridge heading into downtown San Francisco. But its not doing much to slow down your commute there. 880 as it rolls through the oakland area, all lanes are open for you. Traffic is moving well in both directions of 880 as you roll through the oakland area through hayward bound for fremont wide open so far with no roadwork left over from overnight. Heading for the Golden Gate Bridge, you can see the zipper crews our friend paul working on the zipper truck and in a few moments well have four southbound lanes we dont know if thats his or her name but southbound traffic is looking okay leaving the waldo tunnel heading into San Francisco. And heading for the san mateo bridge do keep in mind there are two lanes of traffic shut down for roadwork. This is in both directions of the span between hayward and foster city.
