The copilot who apparently crashed the plane deliberately had tried a controlled descent earlier that day. He put it into descent and brought it back up from a flight in germany to spain during a return trip to desseldorf the plane crashing killing all 150 on board. An angry crowd greeted a man in the drunk driver deaths of her woman and daughter. Killer, murderer 35yearold brian jones didnt say anything outside the courtroom in pleasanton. He is accused of crashing his corvette into a livermore Apartment Building last saturday night. Esperanza morales and her 14 monthold daughter julie were killed at a family barbecue. Yesterday prosecutors asked for more time to investigate before filing charges. So an arraignment was postponed until may 28. The victims family and friends are upset that jones remains free on bail. You are a murderer killer you dont deserve to be breathing what kind of more proof they need . They need more bodies in there . Its not fair or justice. Police say jones was at the livermore wine country festival before get to behind the wheel and crashed. This is the second runin with the law over impaired driving. In 2003 he pled no contest to a charge of reckless driving involving alcohol. A lawsuit accuses bay area wells fargo of duping customers. It says employees opened accounts for customers without permission sticking them with fees and damaging their credit. It also says the bank pushed employees to meet unrealistic monthly quotas for new checking, savings and credit card accounts. The suspect ran away. Police found and arrested him. The victim taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Police in san jose are defending the officers who did this. [ screaming ] officers say 22yearold Juan Moreno Lopez attacked them when they tried to arrest him saturday night on a drug charge. The witnesses called it barbaric but the police say the use of force shown in the video was legitimate. They say officers were trying to subdue the suspect. Here are the average prices for a gallon of regular unleaded these prices are more than 50 cents higher than just a months ago. A study by the Group Consumer watchdog shows Oil Companies make a lot more money when gas prices spike. The companies are acknowledging in their profit reports that they are gouging every time a refinery goes down, the price of gas goes up. It isnt an accident. Ucberkeleys Energy Institute says california is vulnerable to gas price increases because of smog control efforts. The state requires a special blend of gas produced by only a few refineries. Well, today is National Bike to school day but its hard to do that when you dont have a bike.
