Winchester is accused of pulling women over then ordering them to have sex with him and taking them to secluded parks or motels. While acting in his under the authority of his badge, and so they did what we teach people to do which is follow the directions of a Law Enforcement officer. Not knowing that they were about to be victimized. Reporter the allegations were first brought to light in san mateo on october 20. Winchester was immediately placed on leave and stripped of his powers. The case was handed over to District AttorneySteve Wagstaffe to investigate. Wagstaffes office turned up two other possible cases in san mateo county. Pull them over talk to them for a while about maybe whatever it was that he was stopping them for and then would make a decision that this is a victim that he can take advantage of and then he would direct him to move. How he used his drone to chase down some wouldbe robbers. Bright smoke could be seen for miles in San Bernardino after two buildings belonging to a motel 8 went up in flames. It went to three alarms after a brush fire started nearby. Crews were forced to battle that fire from the rooftop of the motel and from the ground. Two cars reportedly burned up in the fire, as well. Nobody was hurt. And officials are still looking into what caused it. San jose police say that they confiscated 32 pounds of fireworks during a crackdown over the 4th of july weekend. All private fireworks including the ones labeled safe and sane have been illegal in san jose since 1984. This years the city stepped up its efforts in a Pilot Program that included increased Police Patrols and higher fees for scofflaws. Still the sjpd received almost 700 reports of fireworks related incidents even though there were several major public displays in the city. Two suspected boat thieves are in custody in the state of washington thanks to a teenaged drone operator from Silicon Valley. Chris is on vacation with his family near seattle when he saw two people in a white speedboat begin to steal his parentss boat theyre untying our red zodiac, tossing it into the speedboat. The thieves sped up and lost the drone but by then deputies from the Island CountySheriffs Department were waiting in a nearby island to make the arrest. It was great. It was quick thinking on their part. They got the thing launched. It helped with identification, too,. Reporter a husband and wife are now in jail for stealing two boats. Detectives say it turns out james and Susan Rayburn had stolen the white speedboat earlier in the day. Within hours, the deputies were able to return the red zodiac to chris and his family.
