Right now in the sierra, not a lot of rain in our neck of the woods and we zoom into the sierra and we have plenty of snow some impressive cells here with a rainsnow mix. And then some snow flurries up there right around the lake today. As we make our way throughout the day this will taper off and over the next couple of days, more of this sunshine is what you can expect, blue skies over the golden gate. Yes, we are on the chilly side today. The cool side if you will breezy with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures are running in the upper 50s throw 60s throughout the bay area this midday. And we will warm up into the low to mid60s for the warmer spots but not much warmer than that. A cool air mass in place behind the cold front that passed through, that is keeping temperatures cool today. And we are keeping it a little unsettled but as you will see futurecast is now taking any rain chances out of the forecast. So for the most part sunshine, not going to see anything in terms of rain until this weekend. Thats when we get the next weather system. So here we are friday 3 p. M. This is just the beginning of this system which will move through and right now, looks like it will bring widespread rain off and on saturday, sunday, maybe even unsettled weather into monday.
