He was taking on the Mercy Medical center where he died. 48yearold Elias Wanatee was arrested a few hours later and charged with the crime. His daughter said she cannot believe what happened. The owner of the house he was inside and heard my dad and him outside fighting. When he got to the door my dad was coming to the door and he said he stabbed h hm in his lung and to call an ambulance. We could n ner thank him he has made 127 blood donations. I wanted to pay back. Thomas has been rolling up his sleeves helping the community for 27 years. That is just so hard to to think of how much blood that is. That is almost 16 gallons of blood. That is enough blood to save the lives of 381 people. That is more than population there. That is why he is nominated the long time donor. I didnt quite understand what it was till i was contacted by claire at the blood bank. She is the one that nominated me. That made it aokay. Anything to promote the blood bank. He first gave blood in 1989. There was complications with my wife and youngest daughter. Thomas drove her to the hospital. Instead his wife was rushed to sioux city because of her nonstop bleeding. So thomas jumped right in saving his wifes life. Such a righteous cause. We need blood all the time.
