Southbound lanes of interstate 280 are now closed in San Francisco. And could be shut down for the entire Holiday Weekend. Chp officers moved in at nine oclock last night. Interstate 280 southbound will be shut down from sixth street down to mariposa. The 4th and king street on ramp will also be shut down. Crews say they need to repair a bridge hinge on the southbound side of the sky way. Officials say drivers need to budget more time than usual for commuting during the weekend closure. Crews say the freeway will reopen at 5 am tuesday. One person was killed and one was injured in a shooting in hayward last night. Police say the incident happened in the area of saklan road and west winton avenue. The motive in the shooting remains under investigation and police have not released any suspect information. The police chief in salinas is promising a full investigation into the citys latest officer involved shooting. There has been three deadly shooting in the past three months. Salinas Police Released this Surveillance Video of the latest incident. Chief Kelly Mcmillin says the suspect used shears to threaten a woman with Sexual Assault. Police then pursed the man, surrounds him and fired five shots. Those who were outraged at the shooting gathered wednesday night to show their anger. The gathering turned violent when the crowds threw bottles at the police. Chief mcmillian says he understands why people are upset. But he said his officers to not use their weapons without cause. During the protest a Police Officer was injured when a bottle was thrown at him. And several Salinas Police cars were damaged as well.
