He died at the hospital. Another teenager and two adults were also shot. Theyre expected to survive. Witnesses say they saw the suspect get away in a blue nissan compact car. A woman was driving. And there were possibly two other passengers in the vehicle. A San Francisco man is recovering after his rowboat capsized during a race off of californias Central Coast sunday morning. Crews were able to locate the man about 52 miles west of morro bay just after six in the morning. The rower had been participating in the Great Pacific race which is a 24hundred mile rowing competition from monterey to hawaii. The rower was in stable condition. He was lifted into a helicopter and flown to emergency medical crews waiting at the monterey regional airport. The man is recovering and is expected to survive. Officials received a distress call late friday evening into saturday about a rowboat that was sinking. Crews were able to locate the rowers around one in the morning about 75 miles west of san luis obispo. All four of the rowers are in good condition. The new owners of the mavericks surf contest are making some changes to the big wave competition. Cartel management purchased the big wave surf contest earlier this month.
