Least for the past month this home on west 20th correctly across the street from the high schoolhoused an illegal brothel. Its such a close community. To see theres a brothel right across from campus saddle scary. This is where i hang out with my friends. Reporter police say neighbors and other members of the community tipped investigators off about suspicious activity going on at this house earlier this month. This can happen in any community. It doesnt happen too often in san ma day o. Reporter Sergeant Amanda says police served a search warrant at the home monday. Two men were arrested on felony drug and other charges related to running the brothel. A 25yearold and a 27yearold both booked into the San Mateo County jail. She said the brothel was confirmed after Police Conducted an undercover decoy operation. The illegal activity can bring drugs as well as an array of different criminal behavior and violence because it is a legal location that does make has the potential of making a lot of money. Reporter the president of the high school says he was surprised to hear about the brothel across from the school but commenced the Police Department for its quick response. Police say the home is rantal and appears to have been used solely to sell sex. Investigators are looking for possible victims of human trafficking. In san mateo, kron 4 news. Now to the east bay where authorities are hoping for leads in tracking down a guy who attacked and robbed a woman, this near the bay fair bart station. Catherine is here with details on what happened. Reporter it was really a brutal attack. Police are upset. They say the 48yearold woman was attacked from behind. She was attacked while walking to the bart station. It is in an unincorporated area. Police say that she was hit several times with something blunt. They dont really know much else other than that, but she was hit with something heavy, something blunt, and she has very severe injuries to her face. Investigators think that she had been followed several blocks before the attack happened. News of this incident is still spreading. A lot of bart riders sites alarming. Normally i dont even wear my headphones or nothing when i come to bart, because you never know withs hiding out, withs by the stay, none of that. I definitely have to be aware. Everybody in this area of town has to be aware. Investigators say they really need leads. The victim just did not get a good look at the attacker. Reporter a fabulous new stadium for the Oakland Raiders surrounded by new homes, entertainment and science and technology. That may bea possibility if mayor libby schaaf has her way. Right now she says she and her team are moving forward with top goal to keep the raiders in oakland for good. Well, we are very excited that we have reached an agreed upon framework for a deal. And we are bringing that framework for approval by both the board of supervisors of Alameda County and also the Oakland City Council, because the land that the coliseum sits on is jointly owned by both the city and the county. And while all negotiations have reached an acceptable framework we need the approval of both these bodies to move forward. Reporter on tuesday the Alameda County board of supervisors took up the matter in a closed door session. Much of the publics business must be dunn in the public eye. There is a very understandable exception for real estate negotiations. When you are negotiating with another side you dont always want them to hear all of the considerations and discussions, so that we can get the best deal possible. Reporter the mayor says public details will be available sometime in december. We do know now that the city council has approved new zoning is in and around the coliseum. For a sweeping new development, including already done, the zoning and environmental clearance. Not just for a new stadium but also for this ancillary development. Things like a hotel or retail. Reporter the mayor has long said taxpayer dollars must be used wisely. The city and county are still paying on debt incurred by bringing the raiders back from los angeles. The mayor says that this time around she believes the partnership with former player ronnie lott and group can make things happen. We are working directly with a group that has the capacity to write the check themselves. Reporter but what about the las vegas deal . A few months ago raiders owner mark davis celebrated when nevada agreed to build a stadium in the southern part of the state. I respect that the raiders have had a really frustrating several years, but oakland can absolutely compete with these other markets. The coliseum site has the infrastructure so you have the bart line there, you have amtrak, tough line that goes out to the airport, you have it right there on the freeway. In addition to that a change in management for the as means a promising foundation for a new water front ballpark. He has a stadium blueprint and financial backing from a casino mogul and an entire statement but nfl rules dictate that a team cant apply for relocation if there is a viable alternative. Davis that he really wants to stay in oakland that he hasnt been able to come up with a deal here, so now, heres a deal thats going to be working for everybody, and hopefully he will realize that he should stay in oakland. The couple says this isnt the first time its happened with petsmart groomers. Plus, were learning new details about what caused a Deadly School bus crash in tennessee that killed five children. What the School Bus Driver allegedly told the children before that collision. And next up, a police chase in the south bay leaves one person dead. What we are learning about what led up to the chase. This all started in San Francisco with a call of a robbery that chp ultimately takes over near redwood city, goes down 101, ultimately gets on city streets in sunnyvale and crashes off of El Camino Real and wolf road. The Marin County Sheriffs Office has announced another arrest made in connection with a gang related murder in the hills of no vat tomorrow. Says was angry that the dog wouldnt cooperate and that a necropsy showed that the dog had been strangled. Today in the Lawyers Office they sat holding their surviving dogs closely. They refer to henry as their son. We never had children together, so i hope people can understand, these are our children. We had no way to know that just taking him in would end his life. Reporter the lawyer says a review shows numerous complaints of other animals being seriously injured or even killed while in the care of petsmart groomers since 2010. Theyre also concerned that the dog grooming industry sun regulated. So i go in and i get a manicure. The lady who is doing my nails is licensed by the statement theres regulation. There is nothing that exists like that for pet grooming. So petsmart represents that its groomers are trained over 400 hours, that its groomers are annually certified in say. Thats petsmart seas own training and certification process. So they have the means of control to improve their grooming. And unfortunately it seems they did not.
