A busy street in San Franciscos Mission district is shut down this afternoon as police try to negotiate with a barricaded suspect with a gun, a Police Spokesman said. Police responded to reports of a person with a gun in the 500 block of valencia street between vicki San Francisco investigators are getting a flood of tips from the public about the motorcyclists sideshow on highway101. That developed into a fight with a passing driver. 10 to 15 dirt bike and atv drivers were involved in the mele where a driver was punched and kicked. The confrontation was caught on camera by another driver. The chp says they are receiving help from witnesses to identify the group of motorcyclists. grant another big story tonight. Eric harvey homeowner its more or less a redneck thing, because of being a cowboy. Its just, to me its more a stand point of just the rowdy, get rowdy, get crazy, just do stupid things. He says he means no harm. Because hes an Ardent Supporter of President Trump. He says some neighbors have interpreted this as a racially charged message. But harvey says its just as patriotic as the other flags he flies. Everybody thinks it has to do with racists, racism and slavery and all that, but you know, thats not the case. Bridge harvey says he put the flag up about a week ago. It was a gift from his friend doctor Burt Broussard. Dr. Burt broussard harveys friend i think the message is, uh, uh, basically, we can do it. Thats it. Harvey is not breaking any laws or ordinance by flying the Confederate Flag. But some of his neighbors are offended. Lisa chavez neighbor it is legal but it doesnt make it right. In brentwood, Philippe Djegal, kron four news. vicki the santa clara district attorneys officer is looking into the shooting death of a young man by a police officer. To try and determine if the shooting was justified. It started early this morning when a woman called police saying that her son was acting erratically. When officers arrived they found the man. And at some point a confrontation led them near the intersection of scott boulevard and monroe street. Police say the man would not cooperate. And they needed to use deadly force. Degree of force. I know there were some verbal exchanges between the suspect and the officers. And unfortunately it was a situation that officers could not deescalate. vicki the officers name has not been released. We do know he has served 13years on the force. He has been placed on administrative leave. grant they were already homeless when floodwaters chased them from their campsites along coyote creek last month in san jose. Now, as millions of dollars in relief money is being distributed to other flood victims, the homeless are saying what about us . Kron fours rob fladeboe back on the flood beat tonight. Coyote creek is just behind this little park area, as you can see, a number of Homeless People are living in a park shelter, havinglost most of their tents and other possessions. Amanda Fukamoto, whose home was a tent pitched here along coyote creek near old oakland road, is among the hundreds of Homeless People who lost everything when they escaped theflood. For its part, the city says it warned the homeless in advance to get away from the creek and indeed rescued several people during the flood and that it is already spending millions of dollars on programs to help the homeless. The city has been committed to working on issues surrounding homelessness, investing over 70 Million Dollars in the last two years to create housing opportunities, invest in services and create outreach with a lot of work on the ground to get people housed. Now police say theyve arrested that man. Who they are calling a serial burglar. This 23 year old Evan Underwoods mugshot hes allegedly responsible for 4 home break ins. One officer i talked to says theyve made a couple of arrests lately which may be the reason why in just the last two weeks theyve noticed that the number of burglaries started to decline. The captain of the taravel Police Station is hosting a meeting wednesday night to talk to residents about these burglaries that have plagued this area. Who police say was standing in the area of 47th avenue and vicente street. Near ocean beach and the zoo. Around 7 oclock. Police say three men approached him. One of them shot the 27 year old. All three ran from the area, but were tracked down by police. And the man suspected to be the shooter was booked in jail. Obamacare taxes on the wealthy, insurers and Drug Companies would be eliminated, and the expansion of medicaid to cover lowincome adults would be phased out. Right now the rollback is set for 2020. Conservatives want it moved up to 2017, potentially creating a gap in careand that could be enough to make moderate members vote against it. Republicans need to stay largely united to outnumber democrats against the obamacare repeal. Rep. Nancy pelosi d minority leader its really a cruel bill that the republicans have put forth.
