Murder charges have been filed against one of the three people arrested in connection with the latest deadly shooting along interstate 80. The shoowing was last thursday along i80 in richmond this is video from our partnership with abc 7 news. Two people were shot, one, Demarcus Doss died over the weekend. Kron 4s dan kerman spoke with the victims sister today, he joins us live along interstate 80 with more on this part of the story. Dan . The family of Demarcus Doss is still grieving and really in the state of disbelief that this could have happened to him sot Shanyla Robinson victims sister ive seen people posting it on facebook i see the post about a man got killed or shot, but never did i think it was my brotherit was later that night that Shanyla Robinson found out the man who was shot thursday on i80 in richmond was none other than her brother Demarcus Doss, a College Student who wanted to become a Probation Officer. He died this weekendsot Shanyla Robinson victims sister 3343 he wanted to change things that as going around. He wanted to change richmond , you talking about a guy that fed the homeless once a month , went to church all the time, how do you do somebody like that . Robinson says doss just wanted to make everyone around him proud. She says his shooting paints a bleak picture for other young men trying to do the same thing. Sot if you know demarcus you know he didnt deserve it , anybody can get it i guess , they shooting anybody, they dont care who you are, theres no avoiding it, the only thing i can recommend people to do is to get right with god before you die just like my brother did2 17 year olds, and this man, 24 year old Elliott Johnson are now in custody for dosss murder. Johnson has now been charged with murder, attempted murder and shooting at an occupied vehicle. 137 occupied vehicle the das office says the suspect elliott john will be formally arraigned sometime tomorrow in richmond grant we first told you about this breaking news when it happened thursday afternoon. Oakland police say they have taken one person into custody related to a shooting that left one woman seriously injured. It happened last night around 10. On international boulevard and 67th street. Police did not release further details on what sparked the shooting but did say they have one suspect in custody. The woman remains in critical condition. grant in the south bay. New details now in connection with the arrest last week of a second suspect in the alleged murder last fall of 88 year old miss flo douglas of san jose. No cameras were allowed in the courtroom this afternoon for the arraignment of jennifer jimenez, of san jose. But prosecutors did release a statement of facts that details how jimenez allegedly knew about her boyfriends involvement in the crime and helped himtry and cover it up. This is the mug shot of 19 year old Jennifer Hernandez jimenez. She was arraigned monday on charges of accessory to murder and conspiracy to obstruct justice. Prosecutors say that jimenez helped this man, 19year old zachary cuen, now awaiting trial, conceal evidence in the alleged september, 2016 murder of 88 year old flo douglas, of san jose. District attorney and helped his obstruct the sheriffs investigation prosecutors say that after zachary cuen assaulted flo douglas during a robbery here in her East San Jose home, he drove douglas car to jimenezs house. In a statement of facts released by investigators, jimenez allegedly gave cuen a change of clothes and helped him destroy the blood stained clothes he arrived in and then lied about it to deputies. Officer Colin Stewart was one of the officers who responded to reports that a 24 yearold man had cut himself and had a gun. Officials say by the time officers arrived at the house. The man had escaped through a window. According to police. He was found nearby. Threatening to shoot himself and police. Officers tried to subdue the man with a stun gun. But were unsuccessful. Officials say the man refused to show his hand. Then began to approach stewart. At this point. Stewart fired his gun. Killing the man. No weapons were found on the man. But a bloody knife was located nearby. California authorities are investigating a deadly officerinvolved shooting that happenedin the city of orange. Catherine heenan is here with details of the dramatic confrontation which was caught on video. The video starts with a man sitting smoking a cigarette in a white van. Police say hed been pulled over for a broken tail light. And simply refused to get out of the van. Officers responded by breaking a window on the passenger side and soakinghim with a fire hose. Tonight they say that man had been threatening to use a can of gasoline and a lighter. The incident ends when he finally crawls out of a van window. Theres a scuffle. And officerscan be heard yelling that he had a knife. At first rubber bullets were fired and then a single fatal gunshot. The man was actually able to stand up after at least one of the bullets hit him. Butthen went down after the last shot. But it didnt keep him alive. Police say the man had a knife in his hand and another tucked away in his pants. People in the area say they often saw him around. The manager of a gas station said he never had moneyand would try to trade items for gasoline. No officers were injured in the incident. grant the milpitas man charged with jumping the white house fence has been released from Police Custody while he awaits his next trial date. At a federal Court Hearing in washington Johnathan Tran was ordred to stay within 100 miles of his hometown. Exept while traveling to court in washington. The lawsuit says the new travel ban is unconstitutional and harms state residents, universities and businesses. The attorney general is asking for a hearing to be held tomorrow.
