In the past week, several students at the school were disciplined for making nazi salutes in the hallways and posting racist images on instagram. This afternoon, memebers of the black Student Union here at albany high held a unity rally to try and end the week on a positive note. In all 7 9th graders were recently disciplined for making racist gestures and posting racist images online. At least some of those students were allowed to return to school this week and that has many in the student body upset. At tonights, rally students say they wanted to show support for the victims of the recent problems. They also want to send a message that this sort of behavior wont be tolerated on campus. Apparently the message may have gotten through to at least one of the kids involved in the racist acdts. A teacher actually read an email she had received from one that students. Catherine Daly city police are looking for the man they say exposed himself to a 12yearold girl. Hes also accused of doing the same thing to a teenager. A suspect sketch has now been released. Police say the first incident happened monday night around 6 near westmoor park. When the man exposed himself to a 19yearold woman. They say he did it again wednesday this time to a 12Year Old Girl walking home from school on miraposa avenue. The car was traveling eastbound when it collided with the truck here at the intersection of mcevoy. The late model Pontiac Firebird, its roof mostly sheared away on impact, ended up pinnedbeneath the trailer of the big rig truck. The driver of the car was apparently killed on impact but a passenger in the car, a 10yearold girl, was trapped for a time and had to be rescued. Officer albert morales.
