Beating lebron james and the Cleveland Cavaliers in game two of the nba finals. Good evening thank you for joining us. Theyre two games away from another championship win. They beat the cavs 11077 making it the 87th win on the season and their fifth in a row. Tonight it was all about Draymond Green. And steph curry who you see at 18 points in the night. Golden state blew out the cavs in the second half beating them by more than 30 points. Its the first time lebron has lost seven straight to the same opponent. And live from oracle arena, mark how was it in there . Reporter my goodness it was incredible. Heading into tonight lebron james was 90 after one game losses there was a feeling he would be coming out with some sort of angry take this game over performance but we didnt get that from the cavs superstar instead the warriors were rolling engineered a 33point blowout. Lets show some video. Steph curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green and green had the night of the finals. 28 points on 58 from threes. He pulled down seven boards. And in addition to the spectacular offense from the warriors they put out great defensive effort. Held the cavs to 35 shooting that supposed cavaliers offensive attack. And with that now the warriors two wins away from repeating. Lets hear from the defending champs. Steph was on the bench in trouble and someone has to step up. I dont look at that situation and say i need to take over offensively but the shots were coming my way and my teammates found me i was able to knock a few of them down. Draymond is never going to turn down an open shot. He makes the right play every time and he did tonight he had an amazing game. Reporter in the last two games combined the warriors won by a combined 48 points thats a largest over a two game span. And this 33point win is the largest since 2013 when the spurs beat the lebron james heat by 36 points. Once again the warriors two wins away from a championship. They could clench it all friday game four in cleveland. But before that game three wednesday in ohio. Back to you in studio. Thank you, mark. Very exciting. Team coverage of the big win tomorrow. And also at oracle, we spoke with warriors fans after tonights win. You Better Believe warriors fans left here happy after they witnessed this lopsided blowout. There were moments early on in the game that the fans looked a bit nervous but they loosened up as the warriors did. And it was pretty much downhill after the 1st quarter as fans stormed out of oracle arena they jumped into an impromptu concert with rapper too short taking the mic. And they already met the most difficult challenge the Oklahoma City thunder. The cavs are an excellent team, but so far not better than the warriors. The game was great. The m atmosphere, the energy my first warriors game. So awesome. Me and my dad had a bet that either the cavh leers or the warriors won and i won. I wanted the warriors to win. Its history in the making. You see it you dont believe it. We were here the same la time last year and they lost in game two. We were like not this year and its great to be here. Its going to be tough going to cleveland now but i think the warriors pull it off. Was there talk about a potential sweep yes. But most fans give lebron james and the Cleveland Cavaliers the benefit of the doubt that theyll put further a much better effort when the series moves to cleveland. But warriors fans happy being up 20. Now heres a look at the nba finals schedule game three set for wednesday june 8th in cleveland. Game four also in cleveland that game will be on friday june 10th and if necessary game five will be in oakland a week from tomorrow. And the democratic president ial candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are using the Golden State Warrior ins their president ial campaigns. Its kind of a good move to try to win over bay area voters. I would say so. Joining us now to explain how theyre doing it. Theyre playing to the audience of course in politics they call it barn storming. Free concerts, rallies, speeches, both clinton and sanders are going all out in california ahead of tuesdays vote. I mean the Golden State Warriors are doing pretty well. At a Surprise Campaign stop in oakland former secretary of state Hillary Clinton name dropped the warriors. Then she was off to vallejo where she stump and had talked about being a grandmother. Honestly facetime was invented for grandparents. It is so great. Clinton is now focussed on the golden state trying to send off another win by her rival senator sanders. One of the smartest men and probably one of the greatest president s weve ever had. Today former president clinton headlined an event with basketball legends Magic Johnson and abduljabar. And senator sanders has managed to close the gap. If the turnout is very, very large we have a chance to win big. When sanders a attended a warriors game last week he compared his campaign to the warriors win against the thunder promising to come behind to win it all. He hopes a big win in california will propel him to the convention in july. Today he was in santa monica with his grandson. But clinton claims this game is almost over. I believe on tuesday i will have decisively won the popular vote and i will have decisively won the pledged delegate majority. You cant get much more than that. Tomorrow Dave Matthews band is holding a free concert to get out the vote for Bernie Sanders. And theres also a concert for hillary in la with Christina Agulara and john legend that costs 40 bucks to get in. Lets find out what the weather has in store for us this primary voting week. And i hope the weather is week. Weve got all the political concerts going on here. And theyre traveling around trying to get more votes. And the weather is pretty tough to be around. Youve got to fog along the coastline and the hot weather in the valleys. But the next few days a major cool down some of these temperatures dropping a good 20 degrees. And some patchy fog over the golden gate bridge. And i think itll move further on shore tomorrow morning. So temperatures come down a little bit further. Still some mild numbers in concord 70 degrees. 67 in livermore. And 57 and foggy in San Francisco. And also into oakland. Still were expecting some changes coming our way. And then tomorrow sunny and one more day of zoo some heat inland then temperatures cool off all around the bay area. And with that in mind changes coming our way as it looks like the low pressure system kicking out of town but not before a few more thunderstorms outside today. You see a lot of sunshine in the south bay, 80s and 85 in san jose. Is and inside the bay a little more sea breeze. About 65 in richmond. East bay temperatures on the hot side. 80s and low 90s in towards livermore about 94 in brentwood. And tomorrow the last day of the 90degree heat. And some much cooler weather on the coastline highs in the 50s and 60s with low clouds and fog throughout the day. And 83 degrees in napa and about 76 in san matteo. Back to you. Police in san jose investigating a second deadly shooting in two days. Todays shooting happened between north 26th and yule yon street where witness jewel julian street. And late last night another man was shot and killed in east san jose. In both shootings the suspects remain at large and neither have been identified. Muhammad alis body returned to his hometown of lewisville kentucky. Where hell be laid to rest and an airplane carrying his body landed in in lewisville. He was taken to a local funeral home a Public Memorial Service planned on friday. Dozens of people attended an interface service earlier today to celebrate the hometown hero. He inspired so many people in and outside of the boxing ring. And alecia reid sat down with andre ward whos from oakland to talk about how ali inspired him. Ive taken so much from him. He helped shape the boxer ward grew up to be. He genuinely cared about people. He got into the sport when he was only 9years old. Because of his dad he started watching take place of ali. Showing that its okay to believe in your abilities and yourself when nobody else believes in you. He was inspired to win gold which he did while 20years old while representing the united states. Now i have a gold medal like muhammad ali and im in the record books with the likes of that man. Its a surreal moment after all these years. Unfortunately the bobbing champ never got the boxing champ never got the tell the man that influenced him one of the greatest in the history of the sport what it meant to him. He was the forerunner and the trail blazer. Hes probably the only champion he grew up watching but didnt get the chance to meet. He knows exactly what he would have done. I would have just sat under his feet and listen and ask questions. Had he not gone through some of the fights and battles he went through and made some of the stances he made i dont know if i would be here. Hes a very important figure in my life. He hopes by the end of the year hell be fighting for the light heavyweight championship of the year. Alecia reid kron four news. That could cause a lot of flooding concerns and thats what were worried about as it makes its way on shore in the next 24 hours. And you can see its not a well organized system. Its colin that continues to work its way in just off the yucatan peninsula. And it may take it just north of tampa. And a ton of rain, you could see tornados embedded in the storm and it will sweep up to the carolinas. So a couple of days of stormy weather. California some lightning strikes right now. Continuing to see the thunderstorms as low pressure sweeps out of the state by tomorrow that moves on out. Out the door in the bay area some low clouds and some fog moving on shore just filling into the bay. Temperatures right now in the 50s and 60s in the bay. Still some 70s showing up for some of the valleys. The sea breeze fairly strong especially into the delta and 21 miles an hour gives you an idea of that sea breeze. And some thunderstorms up in Northern California thatll start to move a little bit further to the east and as it moves out well heap help to clear out your skies too. And moving on shore inside the bay, that slowly breaking away to the coastline throughout the day tomorrow.
