Here is what we know right now. two suspects have been killed and one is in custody of the interrogation is just beginning a swat team gathered around wednesday evening with an explosive detecting robot in tow we are bringing in resources, we do not know the contents of that house reporter for more than a dozen people were killed more than the billsthan a dozen here you can see a black suvs brittle in bullets and a possible suspect line on the ground with a gun on his side the headar15 they had ar15 assault style rifles it is too soon to tell if it is connected to terrorism pam . Is what we know right now police have identified the two suspects involved in todays shooting. Police say, the male suspect is 28yearold syed farook. A us citizen. The female suspect has been identified as 27yearold tashfeen malik. Officers did say. The two were in a relationship. It was unclear if they were engaged, or married. Both of them were killed this afternoon after an exchange of gunfire with police. Police did confirm that farook was attending the social Services Center christmas party. Police say, he worked as a county employee. Enviromental specialist for the last five years. Farook left the party angry. And then shortly returned in the black suv. With weapons. he is a county employee and he works in the environmental specialist and Public Health department and has been an employee for five years. He was at the party ended leave the party early under circumstances some would describe as angry when we encountered him it led to the pursuit and shooting and we now confirm he is one of the shooters pam we want to show you where this all happened today. Thats where the pursuit began and eventually came back to Mountain View and richardson in San Bernardino. Dramatic moments this afternoon during a shootout between police and the two suspects. Police chased the suspects s uv. Which was seen driving away from the scene of the shooting at the inland Regional Center. The car chase ended in a shootout. Leaving the two suspects dead. One witness says, he heard 100 to 200 rounds of gunfire. all of a sudden i hear a brush of bulletsbarragge of bullets it went on and on and on i would say either a hundred to 200 rounds and i got me in my house really quick pam when news of todays shooting broke. You had 14 people who died, another 17 who are seriously wounded and this may not have happened if there was a situation where people could have readily armed themselves legally in public settings.
