Noelle bellow, our top story this afternoon. Another disturbance at San Francisco international airport. This time a man was stabbed in the baggage claim area early this morning. One person has been detained. Kron 4 Sarah Stinson was there. She has details on what happened. A man in his 40s has been arrested for stabbing another man right here in the terminal. 3 baggage claim. Now the scene has been cleared. It is back to normal with people flying out the starbucks opened. They can still see where that scene was. They had to clean it up and sanitize it. The man stabbed has been taken to the hospital with stab wounds and is expected to be okay. Video shows care. So for all wrapped up in crime tape, San Francisco police say the call came in just before 5 this morning. Officers found a man with stab wounds in baggage claim and helped him until paramedics took him to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. Officers quickly located a man nearby detained and questioned him and later arrested him. The charges had not been released yet nation ship between the victim and the suspect is still under investigation. What led up to this is is what our investigators are looking to confirm. We have a lot of Surveillance Video that were having to analyze. Witnesses told police the man arrested is homeless and the person stabbed is an employee of the airport. All of that is still being investigated. You do not have to enter security to get into baggage claim anyone can be here. Travelers who may feel concerned after a string of incidents at sfo. This is what the Police Department has to say. Know that we have officers here. 24 7 that are here for everyone. Safety making sure that if incidents like this occur, that there will be a Law Enforcement response and to stop any kind of threat to the public. We do have Emergency Services that are keen on the airport for crude. The stabbing did not pose a threat to the rest of the airport. No flights were delayed or canceled because of this incident. Bart service between the concord and pleasant hill, bart stations that the fire broke out just before 5 this morning, which is just in time for the early commute there. The fire was quickly put out that bart had to send shuttle buses to bring riders between the 2 stations. That part of the yellow line, though, did become operational again around 9 this morning. New at noon monkeypox has made its way to solano county. Health Officials Say 2 probable cases have been identified both pending confirmation from the cdc. The total throughout the state. Tnow up to 250 cases. San francisco has had the highest number so far. But California Health officials are set to release the latest county monkeypox numbers later. This afternoon. Again, monkeypox is spreading, but it is still a relatively rare Disease Health experts to stress to be careful about close contact with people who could be infected. The machines will steal your banking information if you swipe your card ground for us. Charles clifford is in petaluma right now. Joining us live where several of those skimmers have been found around town. Charles. Well, here in petaluma, the Police Department says they found atm credit card skimmers at 4 different locations over the course of the last week. Lets going take a look at a graphic here. I can kind of show you where this has happened now. This past saturday, technicians working on to a t ms at a bank of america location in downtown petaluma found skimmers there. And then on monday, the Police Department says that 3 more locations, all 7 elevens were found have atm skimmers. These are across penn aluma. Now the Police Department says they found the skimmers attached to the credit card readers. They also found in some cases, cameras pointed at the keypads apparently to record peoples pin numbers as they were putting them in. And the Police Department says, you know, thieves will get the credit card information in the pin numbers and then use that information to make fraudulent purchases. Now, weve also learned this isnt just in petaluma down in sunnyvale last friday, the Police Department there found skimmers at a chevron, 7. 11, location along el camino. Real now the Police Department to is offering some advice for people who might be using atm. You know, you want to check the atm, make sure that all the pieces are snug fit on their properly. Nothings loose know off angles or anything sticking out. Anything that looks unusual. You might want to avoid that machine. Also, many locations, especially at 7 elevens. I notice well have a security tape, a little piece of red tape over the card reader. If that tape looks like its been tampered with in any way, if its torn a ripper, looks like its been peeled off. You may want to avoid that machine as well. And finally, keep an eye on your credit card history. Check to make sure if theres any unusual purchases happening. Musk had been fighting to have the lawsuit delayed. Twitters trying to force him to keep the promise he made to buy the social Media Company back in april. Twitter says the ongoing dispute is hurting its business. Musk agreed to pay 44 Million Dollars for the company. The department of labor is investigating amazon warehouses across the country for alleged unsafe working conditions. Spingola says he was taking the trash out in the back of the Community Center when he noticed the 2 men who would have had to hop a 20 foot fence to get into the area has seen a guy table back and drugs on the table they again, we just every day that theyll set up spingola says. The man assaulted him after he kindly asked them to move their things away from the youth center. As you can see, hes still recovering from his injuries, which includes a fracture under his right eye in that space right there in and a lot of spaces and is not okay. And we just cant keep exposing them to spin ghul and they hold many titles like executive director of the Community Center and collective impact. And also juvenile probation commissioner. Police say sometime between saturday night and sunday morning, someone an anti semitic symbol on the side of 3 cars. Those cars were parked in the area of monterey avenue about 2 blocks north of Saint Marys College high school. A 4th car in the area had its windows smashed in with a brick. And San Francisco. Police have identified the man arrested for calling in a bomb threat at sfo. San Francisco Police say 53 yearold Terri Addison is now facing charges for the incident that happened late friday night. Police and authorities found a suspicious package in a nearby parking garage. Investigators at the airport deemed that item possibly incendiary and evacuated the international terminal. Addison has been booked into jail and san mateo county. Search is on for a man accused of killing someone at a Bowling Alley in livermore. The suspect is 27 yearold Roger Aleman Garcia Police Believe he shot and ki. Led 27 yearold Anthony Vargas after the 2 got into a fight at the granada bowl saturday night. Garcia is a convicted felon with a criminal record, including assault with a deadly weapon. Like that to happen is kind of mindboggling. You would never imagine, especially area. A fire burning in pittsburgh. Firefighters say it burned in the same area as the fire from sunday night. This once not one started at 11 30 and it burned 40 acres. Firefighters in the north bay were able to contain the lincoln fire that bn burning in marin city. That one started just after 3 oclock yesterday afternoon in the area of northbound highway one o one. At one point, some residents there in sausalito were asked to shelter in place, but that order was lifted. Air quality advisory of eastern Contra Costa County has been extended through tomorrow. The bay area air Quality Management district extended it due to the marsh fire, which has been burning for more than a month now in the area of marsh creek road and walnut boulevard just south of brentwood. Investigators say the marsh fire started a homeless encampment in bay point. The advisory was supposed to be in effect for just a few days when it was announced last week. But that fire just keeps on smoldering. So the advisory is continuing to be extended. Kron 4 meteorologist dave spahr is joining us now with a look at our forecast tracking those fires in the east bay. Well, were seeing our traditional onshore winds in place as the inland areas pick with temperature these are the typical onshore westerly direction. We like that. That kind of helps out a little bit with all the effort. 91 are ready for any act. Looking at some 80s going on to the far east bay 60s line at the east bay shoreline, but still kind of a mix up here in the north bay with 60s and 70s 73. Meanwhile, 4 san jose still some expect the excessive heat to be had in the central valley. Youll notice there is an excessive heat warning. Thats until 10 this evening.
