Well measure s would allow noncitizens to vote so long as they are a resident oakland, a parent, a guardian or legal, recognize caregiver of a child and are able to vote under existing state or local law. The Oakland Unified School district has 7 directors elected to his school board. Every 4 years as it currently stands. Only u. S. Citizens are allowed to vote in Oakland School board directors. Well, those supporting measure s argue every pair of a student should have a say in who runs the schools. Opponents of the measure say it would be illegal to allowing noncitizens to vote. Measure asked requires an affirmative majority to pass. So what that means is the measure only passes of more than 50 of the votes yes. Well, a newly released audit by investigators who were hired by the state says pg and e continues to deal with aging equipment damaged power poles and hazardous trees. The investigators are hired to check on pg es progress in preventing another wildfire. Well, the report also says progress on wildfires.
