Kron 4 has Learned Police want to speak to man who they say was admitted onto the fifth floor from the emergency stairwell back on oct. 4th ucsf police saying the man had seen someone lying on the stairwell and reported it to a senior staff member at the hospital. Reporter investigators believe this happened back on october 4th just before 7 30 in the morning the information was reported to the San FranciscoPolice Department four days before Lynn Spalding was found dead. Right now it s unclear if the man is an employee at the hospital. Reporter we did reach out to a spokesperson for the hospital, she tells us she is happy there is a wider net being cast on the investigation and that the staff is helping in anyway possible. Reporter the witness is described as an asian man 3040 years old 5. 8 tall with a medium build as to why this witness has not come forward is anyones guess right now we are told that the hospital has already made efforts to track him down and get some answers.
