Nationwide creepy clowns target schools online oakland, ca Oakland Unified School district has received reports of creepy clown messages on social media. These messages are similar to what several other School Districts are reporting across the country. The messages threaten violence. Some have gone so far as to reference specific schools in ousd. We have shared all messages with our ousd police and local Law Enforcement, and they are investigating. While authorities believe the messages are hoaxes, ousd police and staff will be extravigilant. None of the threats nationwide has been deemed credible. The security of our students and staff is our top priority.
