A man who was fatally shot in unincorporated hayward this afternoon was pushing a stroller with a 3monthold infant inside at the time, a spokesman for the Alameda CountySheriffs Office said. Sgt. Ray kelly said the shooting, which occurred in the 200 block of Willow Avenue at about 3 p. M. , was pretty disturbing. Kelly said deputies who responded to the shooting found a man on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Kelly said investigators, who are canvassing the area to gather evidence, will be looking at whether the victim was targeted. He said, when someone is shot while hes pushing an infant in a stroller its a little concerning. Kelly said the infant is safe and is in the custody of sheriffs deputies. The victims identity has not been released. Authorities are trying to determine if the victim was the babys father and are also trying to locate the babys mother. Theres no information on the suspect at this time but the nature of the shooting indicates that the suspect is dangerous, according to kelly. The area, which is near cherryland park, as a middleclass residential neighborhood thats not a highcrime area, kelly said. grant thank you charles. And the goal is to get people back home as soon as posisble so firefighters are hitting this as hard as they can with air tankers, helicopters,lots of resources being brought in not just from other parts of the state but also ajoining states. Officials tell us firefighters are literally walking through the burn zone inch by inch, acre by acre trying to put out any hot spots prevent any potential of spread. Theyre working in steep terrain. Get their equipment through windy narrow roads. So theyre asking people to please adhere to evacuation orders. He was sentenced to a maximum 33 years, minimum 9 years for his role in an Armed Robbery case that happened in a Las Vegas Hotel back in 2007. There were two victims whose Sports Memorabilia was stolen. One of those victims has died. The other says, oj apologized to me and i forgave him. He is said to be testifying tomorrow too. Because of that and what is being called good time served many experts are saying that o. J. Will be paroled. Buti talked with the former chairman of the nevada parole board and she says the decision on whether to release o. J. Has definitely not been made. The parole board i can assure you has not already made up their mind on what theyre going to do theyre going to listen to what mr simpson has to say if the victim is here theyre going to listen to that theyre going to review any reports from the prison any reports mr.
